I like the name “Bite Size” Japanese, because it is not intimidating. It makes you believe that you can do it and keeps me anticipating your next lesson

Layla sensei, thank you so much for sharing. I am always excited to see your daily updates on Instagram! I really like your teaching style and I believe I'm learning more Japanese with your teaching as opposed to any books or other methods. Thank you!!!

Wow, the first time for me to watch your video and get to j with your channel and I’m already going to subscribe.
You speak so clearly and slowly for me to understand you. That is a huge help to me!
I am going to be watching your videos for sure!
    What do you recommend?

I think it's amazing that you feel motivated with what you have decided to do, and I support it. Wonderful way to learn japanese
Your videos have been useful for me to re-start learning japanese, if I can give a suggestion for a video, it comes interesting to me that japanese is written in two ways: horizontal from left to right and vertical from right to left, maybe there's a specific context to use each? And, in addition, I know that it is traditional to have a specific order when you write (like, the arrows that show you how to draw each hiragana and katakana symbol), does it change the meaning of something if you don't write in the right order?
Also, thanks for the practice sheets you left in one of your videos, I have been practicing how to write! ^-^

Thank you for the kind comments!!
Usually Japanese people write sentences horizontally from left to right today, but they wrote left to right around 1940! isn’t it interesting?😉
Japanese teacher teaches their students a correct order to write strokes, but to be honest, you don’t have to listen to me.haha
it doesn’t change anything if you write them in a wrong order!👍If you follow the correct order, then it will be easier to write, but I don’t follow many times.haha

@@BitesizeJapanese1 Interesting indeed! Thanks for the tip ^-^
I have noticed it is easier to write some kanji when I understand some basics about the order of the strokes. Yes, not all of them, some are enough!

You have a very good personal style, very positive, using TH-cam for your course is essential.
Perhaps go outside and use examples from where you live to illustrate your online lessons, might help.
Also, with a friend, show examples of conversation in Japanese language this way.

こんにちは! Just found your channel from your ad on Instagram! I lived in Japan for a year in 2018 (see the video on my channel if you're interested) that's how I met my partner Makoto, we then travelled to NZ, and are currently in Fiji! I find it so hard to learn Japanese (been at it part-time for like 3 years) but I'm gunna watch ya vids and hope it will help 😆 Hope the borders open later this year so you and ya fellow Brit can be reunited 🤞😁

スコットランド 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🙂 where did you visit? You speak very clearly, with a pleasant tone and at an even pace so learning with you would seem easier. Do you have any information about classes, price, signing up...?

Very good, not many people resist long-distance relationships for so long, very loyal, that's very good, and i love hearing the japanese language, it's a special language that i want to learn, so i can visit Japan, japanese architecture it is also very interesting, one of the secrets for its resistance is not using screws, one of my dreams is without doubt to visit Japan, i'm portuguese, maybe through my mother tongue i'll be able to master the japanese language more easily, in any case i'll have to master it with or without great sacrifice 🇯🇵❤️🗻🏯
