Hadn't seen this episode before. Carl Gustav Von Rosen was a really interesting man who was killed in 1977 during the Ogaden war between Ethiopia and Somalia whilst again flying famine relief to refugees. He was killed while on the ground during a surprise attack by the Somali army. He was just a month short of his 68th birthday. A brave and courageous man.

1st wife: Von Rosen's happiness with his second wife, Hanny, ended with the outbreak of World War II. She joined the resistance, was arrested by the Gestapo and sent to Dachau in Germany. After the war she committed suicide in 1949.
