Soulless Jailer shuts off disturb, flashback, all kinds of shenanigans. It’s so great. I’m loving the spheres. I think the green and red common sphere lands will be great in the mono colored decks of recent standard. The art is also awesome. All will be One is sooooooooo good. The art is so sick.
I figure the art is a case where some people will love it. For me, I appreciate the skill put in, but I don't care for it all that much. But it's mostly not my style. I felt the same about the old stuff.
@@PowrDragn The card is nice, but I dunno, the meta changed so much... I don't see him being played in standard and in commander I feel like a 5/5 trample for 5 manas that is just "hard to remove" is barely noticeable. Still, he's cool, I like him for old time's sake.
@@Tentacl it is a fine 5 drop assuming you are casting all thw other fancy green rares for 3 and 4 mana on curve. Thrun will just be a final nail in the coffin
Lorwyn came directly after future sight, where the types Tribal and Planeswalker found on Tarmogoyf became real cards. I assume it’s the same case here, battles come in the set after ONE.
Soulless Jailer doesn't prevent casting creatures from the graveyard, though, so doesn't fully stop Serra Paragon (stops replaying lands) and doesn't stop Tenacious Underdog. Stops Unearth but not Disturb or Escape.
The Bane of Bladehold sounds so tailored to Commander. You can attack one of your "buddies" but instead of doing damage to him, you just create more creatures instead.
You're underestimating Thrun by a long shot. And also assuming it's on the battlefield by itself. This is an update of an older version of Thrun and it's still good in environments with even better removal.

Creature are permanents. They would be going from the graveyard to the battlefield. So pretty sure those are stuck as well per the first line of text.
@@PowrDragn creature cards “cast” from the graveyard move to the stack before entering the battlefield, so do not enter from the graveyard.

That was truly the only scenario I could come up with but even that seemed like a questionable bit of work.

That Danhausen card lacks the teeth i expected. The card is very nice to the player but very evil to our opponents
Honestly with the amount of teeth in this set, I totally was expecting it to be some wild art with a mouth full of chompers showing.
