Here's how we make chai here In india/pakistan. 1. Boil 1 cup water with 2 cloves cardamon and 1 tbsp sugar for 3 min. 2. Add 1tsp patti (black tea leaves) boil another minute. 3. Now add milk half cup and boil 2 min. 4. Strain into a cup and enjoy.

Right now I am riffing on their English Royal tea latte, by steeping a concentrate of Yorkshire Gold and cooling it, making a vanilla simple syrup, and then building it with half tea, half milk over ice. IT IS HEAVEN ON EARTH, who needs a $6 latte from Starbucks!

Love love love this recipe. The only thing I have to say is PLEASE do NOT buy those spices online. Go to your local asian or Indian store. It supports your local economy and they are way cheaper.

Sweet I always use sea salt or Himalayan salt as my family for some reason never as kosher salt 😂
Didn’t have the budget for the chai spices so I used tazo chai concentrate and it was still very delicious!
