May be a mistake in schedule bro. By road itself mangalore to madgoan is 332 kms only. So definitely train route wont be more because it runs parallel to the road route. If you have where is my train app, please check that it says 319 kms. Kandippa 450 kms ah indha route la 4.45 hrs cover panna mudiathu bro. because it s a single track.

Even 497 kms between Coimbatore and Chennai is being covered in 6 hours by vande Bharath which is one of the fastest

Good coverage of the train and the route. But this train is one big waste of tax payers money. The DEMU train in this route is always running partially empty..... then imagine the fate of this train. How, why and since when has SR started operating trains that run in KA and Goa?
