@@Leon-dq7zj - Based on what? Garrett has played Tig and Zac pretty evenly in their matches and Grant is probably a bit better than Garrett. Personally, I would like to see them play.
God please no. Grant and Garrett are like 2 little school girls. The maturity level difference is insane.
@@gv4145 Garrett and Grant are not like school girls they are like 20 years olds who love to play the game. I do think tig and zac would win because of their mental game but it would be a good match.
Tig seems like he’s in a great headspace when playing with zac. Elevated his game when playing with zac vs. playing with good good.
Ya tig has been dominated mentally in the Sunday matches. You can tell he has a better mindset against zac.
He doesn't think the other guys in good good are at his level...when he gets tied(Heaven forbid he is beat) he struggles
It has nothing to do with playing against good good or him thinking he’s on another level to the good good guys. Tig is just struggling with his swing and with the mental side of his game. Even when he plays against Jake from stripe show he still plays “bad” for his standards, it happens to every golfer, he just needs time to get over this hump and he’ll be back to his old self.

I've thought the same. Heard a comment Garret made to Matt Sharf and Bubbie one video that has me wondering how arrogant and overbearing he is when the camera is off.
I watch a lot of golf youtube and the production quality of this video is insanely good. From shot tracers, to super clear camera quality, to useful text on yardages etc... This stands out as the best. Couple that with awesome talent and your channel should skyrocket!

Yeah the series idea is a great one. Kind of eliminates one guy having an off day ruining their chances. Also makes for more content. Win/Win for everyone...well, except for the loser. But they may still win somehow 🤓🤔

Just an idea for all y’all golf content people. Post two formats of your video, every time.
The first includes full commentary. People enjoy that and I watch the long form as well.
The second format would be a TH-cam ‘short’. Cut out everything but the shots and make the video like 2minutes. I would definitely like a condensed version when I don’t have the time to sit through the long form.
Even when I watch the long form, I always put it on 2x speed.

Every thousand feet in elevation change equates to about 2% increase or decrease in carry distance

@@ZacRadford So yeah, at 6600 feet you’re looking at about 12% increase in carry distance and assuming they have standard 12-15 yard club splits over 150-200 yards it’s almost exactly a club and a half

I remember playing a tournament that was about 5000 feet higher elevation then where I typically play. I remember it being a 15% increase in distance for that. So most likely anywhere from 2%-4% increase on average per 1000 feet. Keep up the great vids!!!

We are very close when we are both swinging well
I could be wrong but I believe air density drops a small margin every 1000ft above sea level. I think it equals something like +2% carry / 1000ft elevation. At 6.6k ft that’s 13.2% additional carry. So a typical 100yard shot becomes a 113.2yrds, 150yrds becomes 169.8yrds, 200yds becomes 226 so on and so forth.

I live in Utah and can confirm 2% further for every 1000 ft but, in my experience, the more you close the gap to the pin, the less effect it has. So off the tee box you’ll feel the distance change most, but 100 yards out, you don’t feel it play to much shorter than what you are used to

The eagle chip in and long birdie was worth the watch and like.
The effects of altitude change varies through the bag, of course. You can find formulas about the effect. I prefer to call the club pro and say I'm from sea level and ask what they would expect the difference I would see. Their guesses have worked out a little better than my formulas. But if you're going to do use a formula, make sure you get the elevation of the course and not the nearby town. The difference can be significant.

Just got finished playing the Broadmoor on my golf expedition. Extremely fun course and the resort and staff are 100% class.
Always impressed by your filming and editing skills, not sure if it's your equipment or technique but the videos always look better than any other golf channel.
I love these matches! Zac and Tig just seem like great guys, not to mention they're both incredible players! Zac, your editing is just amazingly insane, brother! And don't feel bad on distance. You could both probably hit 7i or 6i as far as my driver. Haha! I did manage to break 80 this morning though for the very first time!!! 😁
I'm from CO and stats say that ball travels about 6% farther at a mile of elevation above sea level. However, in my experience, I feel that the number is closer to 10% farther at a mile high.
