I'm creating my first comic, but I've spent most of my life being an animal artist/creature designer to hopefully one day work in video games.
But I've had this story in my head for a long time and have decided to create a comic for it. Some days I ask myself why I should even bother. Whenever I think that way I have to repeatedly remind myself that it's my first comic and it won't be perfect but as long as I do my best it can become something I can be proud of in the end once I print it and physically hold it in my hands.

I work with a group of indy creators and self publishers and I find your content inspirational. I admire your commitment to the industry and your viewers, thanks so much for your dedication.
Working on my storylines at the moment..
With the majors falling apart and the availability of social media, this should be a great time for independent creators. Also great potential for creators to work together and build something new and exciting.
Sad to say the days of Stan Lee and co are gone but we can take the best of their ideas to make something new.
This interview was awesome, this is a great testimony. This gives me hope trying to pursue creating a comic book company. God bless

This was great. Really spoke to me. Very informative. I am always second guessing myself, filled with self doubt, comparing myself, and ready to give up. I also have tons of ideas bouncing around in my head. Recently I had been thinking of doing the anthology thing too.
