1. Get rid of all the out of focus bottles in between the camera and your subjects…it is distracting. Have only the bottle or bottles you are talking about now in the main part of the shot.
2. Stop having the person off camera talk, ask for whisky during the interview.
3. I don’t know where Alex is in her whisky journey…she looks quite new to it and basically does a shot in this video. That is not how to educate people on how to drink whisky seriously. Sure…nose it, sip it neat…but how about they talk of the importance of a bit of water to bring out the aromas/tastes? You can see her eyes watering after she drinks it.
She comes across as a ditsy neophyte, not someone who is going to start people on a quality whisky journey.
4. Get rid of the big red banner on the thumbnails
@@SingleMaltTv in all fairness, should you not have someone experienced hosting your channel? She doesnt even look like she knows how to drink whisky or at least is enjoying the taste of it. She just knocks it back ilike a shot and looks disgusted afterwards. Also she doesnt even know that almost all scotch blends are colored. This is first grade rookie knowledge. I think you chose the wrong person for your channel. Maybe Alex should do some off camera work until she is more experienced with Single Malt.

The actual host of the channel is still going to be Charlie MacLean but as I mentioned, we are doing some testing at the moment.
