I think they should put teams in cities that don’t have NFL team. San Diego, Oakland, Portland, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, El Paso, OKC, Wichita, Omaha, Little Rock, Milwaukee, Canton, Columbus, Louisville, Orlando, Norfolk, Raleigh, Providence, etc. should all be explored by the UFL imo
Add San Diego, Oklahoma, Seattle, Sacramento, after the teams that were not included. That gets you to 16:teams. No more expansion for 10 years minimum. Building rivalries, and fan bases should be the top priority.
As the late Jake Blue would say "Let's put the band back together." Hopefully we could bring back all the Franchises that the USFL, and the XFL had first before we go to new locations.
I do hope the UFL will be a permanent fixture and will partner up with the NFL. I would like to see what FOX and the USFL were trying to do and bring back all the former USFL teams. I know it will probably take up to 10-15 years with future expansion. Well, this is what I wish the UFL would eventually be like with a league of 28 teams. Once again there would be 2 Conferences, the USFL conference and the XFL conference. Each conference would have 14 teams in them with 2 divisions (with 7 teams in them). The USFL conferences 2 divisions would be the North and South divisions. The North division would consist of the Chicago Blitz, Denver Gold, Hartford Federals (formerly the Washington Federals), Michigan Panthers, New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars, and the Pittsburgh Maulers. The south division would be the Austin Gamblers (formerly the Houston Gamblers), Birmingham Stallions, Jacksonville Bulls, Memphis Showboats, New Orleans Breakers, Orlando Warriors (formerly the Orlando Renegades), and the Tampa Bay Bandits. The XFL conference would have the East and West divisions. The East division would consist of the Arlington Renegades, DC Defenders, Houston Roughnecks, Ohio Guardians (formerly the Orlando Guardians, and yes they play in Canton Ohio), Oklahoma Outlaws, San Antonio Brahmas, and the St. Louis Battlehawks. The West division would consist of the Arizona Wranglers, Los Angeles Express, Portland Vipers (formerly the Vegas Vipers), Salt Lake City Gunslingers (formerly the San Antonio Gunslingers), San Diego Wildcats (formerly the LA Wildcats), Seattle Sea Dragons and the Oakland Invaders (it would probably be San Jose or Sacramento, Northern California for sure for the Invaders since the stadium in Oakland is in dire need of repairs). I know there will be people saying the San Diego team should be the Fleet but that was an AAF team (and the UFL does not have the rights to them) and besides the USFL/XFL would rather bring back the Express and Wildcats. The regular season would be a 13-game season

I think the key for the league should be to target smaller cities that will greatly appreciate having professional teams. Albuquerque, Salt Lake, OKC, Omaha, and so on. Will probably draw more fans and have more loyalty too than if they go for big cities that are already oversaturated

Oklahoma makes a ton of sense. Considering the leagues cost cutting practices and Okc is only a 3 hours drive, 45 minute flight from the leagues hub it would be probably the lowest transportation cost for any reasonable expansion city. Also, big time football state without any other pro football team. We'd have to bring Stoops back to Oklahoma and get him out of Texas though, that would no doubt boost support even more for the team.
I live in Omaha and attended most Omaha Nighthawks games in the defunct UFL back in 2010. At least the first 4 home games in 2010 were sold out, 21,000+, was a good time and would do well in this UFL
The biggest problem with putting a team in Omaha is that there is no stadium for them to play in. The downtown stadium is a baseball stadium and primarily for the College World Series. The city won't let anything else in the stadium until July. The other stadium in Sarpy County is also a baseball stadium and they share it with Union Omaha soccer so there might not be open dates.
@@hasanimiller4336 With the name of the Hartford Charter Oaks (the old Atlantic Coast Football League/Continental Football League name). Maybe the colors of a white oak in autumn as the team colors.
@@NostalgicSports48 I disagree with you on Canton. Everything else I agree with you on. Instead of putting a team in Canton, put a team in Toledo or Cleveland or Columbus makes more sense but could still have games in Canton. All of the cities that you've suggested are viable spots for league expansion based on their spring football history. Oklahoma City hosted the Outlaws during the early days of the original USFL, also the Gunslingers during the league's restructuring in 1983. Phoenix was the original host city for the Outlaws in 1980. It also hosted the Hotshots of the AAF. The AAF also proved that Salt Lake City is a VERY viable place for a team. In its brief history, the AAF's Stallions were Top 5 in attendance; not to mention that its climate was absolutely perfect for football. On the whole, you made some great picks for future league expansion. 🏈

Kansas city would also be an interesting place for expansion, even if you go east towards Georgia & Florida the possibility for teams in Atlanta, Jacksonville or even Miami are intriguing
0:44-0:58, all these teams should get a chance to come back before picking brand new teams across America. I hope Salt Lake City, Utah gets a chance to be one of them. I can't think of any name to call the team, expect maybe the Bison, the Gulls, and Pelicans, or the Elks. There just ideas, if the team comes up with their own, hopefully it will be a good one.
Regarding westward expansion I could see the following cities in consideration: Reno NV, San Diego CA, Denver CO. I think Reno would be easier than Las Vegas in terms of finding a suitable stadium. San Diego would be like St. Louis, a city hungry for a team to get behind. Lastly, bring back the Denver Gold!

Atlanta got everything it's more big cities then Atlanta if we keep putting shit in Atlanta how can we expect the state of Georgia to grow Augusta savannah Macon or Columbus Atlanta got the falcons hawks braves and United time for other cities to get pro teams
I think Milwaukee would be a fantastic choice. Wisconsin is one of the biggesy football states and giving Milwaukee their own team could also bring in fans from Chicago
If they put a UFL team in Louisiana go with Shreveport and use Independence Stadium the home of the Independence Bowl. Trust me I'm a life long Louisiana resident and New Orleans or Baton Rouge don't need a team. I said Shreveport because they have a stadium that is used for bowl games and it's still in Louisiana but doesn't share a city with a NFL team or Louisianas big college team
I watched the new USFL purely because of the Breakers, I was a fan as a child of the old USFL Portland Breakers. I will not watch the league until the Breakers are back. Back then the Breakers were mediocre at best but they had fans hanging from the rafters. Portland is the 22nd largest TV market in the country, much bigger than most of these cities mentioned but only one major sports franchise (MSL does not count).
Other than NJ & Philly, I'd leave out any city with a MLB team. I'd also leave out West Coast cities based on travel & the league's initial growing pains. Besides NJ & Philly, I'd add you suggested OKC (Outlaws) along with Orlando (Guardians), Jacksonville (Bulls) & a new market (Charlotte). Divide into East/West divisions of 7 each.
So as far as expansion goes, it’d be really cool to see them pick up 4 teams from the other 2 spring leagues that collapsed. From the AAF, the Arizona Hotshots and Salt Lake City Stallions would be my 2 picks. Phoenix and Salt Lake are respectable markets, and they probably had the most diehard fan bases in that league. From the former UFL, I’d add the Omaha Nighthawks and the Las Vegas Locos. Nebraskans love football, and the few short years they had the Nighthawks they averaged the highest attendance in the league. And of course a team in Vegas just makes sense. You’d add the Arizona and Salt Lake teams to the USFL Division, and the Omaha and Vegas teams to the XFL Division. Or create new divisions based on regions, with 4 divisions of 3. West: Las Vegas, Arizona, Salt Lake City; South: San Antonio, Houston, Arlington; Central: Omaha, St. Louis, Memphis; and East: Birmingham, Michigan, DC. With this format, they could play a home-and-home series with the other 2 teams in their division, and 2 cross-division teams from each of the other 3 for a 10 game regular season. Division winners make the 4 team playoff.
Canton Bulldogs, Oklahoma Gamblers, New Jersey Generals, Pittsburgh Maulers, Philly Stars, New Orleans Breakers, Oakland Invaders, Utah or Reno Vipers, and San Diego.
Bring back the Oklahoma Outlaws and the Arizona Wranglers, as well as the Denver Gold and the Oakland Invaders. Then Seattle sea dragons then maybe the San Diego Fleet.
The Jacksonville Sharks have been a team making lateral league moves for a while... The UFL should've been in their sights this season.🤷🏾♂️ 4x AFL champions to the IFL though?
Wish they would have kept all the teams. Or at least most of them instead of a 8 team league at least have. 10 or 12. I get the money probably isn’t their yet
I’m not sure how cost effective it would be to bring back the Vipers to the Vegas market. That was one of the original issues they had with the team because they were essentially pigeon-hole’d to use Allegiant Stadium since they couldn’t use Sam Boyd Stadium at UNLV. As for the Orlando Guardians, IMO, that was a trash franchise that doesn’t need to be brought back. If the UFL wants the Orlando market, then revive the Orlando Apollos from the AAF. That was a franchise that had a connection with the city, not the Guardians. Bring back the Apollos to Orlando and you will have way better turnout than for the Guardians.
Leaving the Philadelphia Stars out was ridiculous. #1, there is zero northeast teams. Washington is in the mid atlantic but leaving out the largest media markets is silly on it's face and it will be felt. #2, the Stars, if you want to include the original 1983-85 franchise were in the championship game 4 of the 5 seasons. If the Maulers do come back they need to go back to the purple and orange.
None of the cities you mentioned are getting an expansion team. They must expand west. Look for a team to return to Seattle and a team in California, probably San Diego. Remember Fox wants TV viewership, they can't ignore the California market.
@@cinemalover4027they do have D1 schools. They play D1AA football but are D1 schools and before the D1A/D1AA split transition from 78-82, all D1 schools played D1 football as there was no FCS or FBS.

These expension will be made by economial reasons. The biggest TV markets are LA area NYarea and Florida.I think there are the next teams are located. You cant earn money with a great senic view at the Stadium.
You should use MSA or CSA “metro area” data rather than a city population as a starting point. Teams are looking for financial depth and marketing partners in a metro area, not just a populated central city. Also, consider competition of other teams in market. Phoenix despite a large population may not be the best play because of so many other leagues, and the city’s unwillingness to work with franchises existing- look up diamondbacks stadium issues, the coyotes are probably relocating, cardinals play in Glendale. OKC, Columbus OH, Portland OR would be my top 3. Also- difficult to feel fan base depth on Orlando, Vegas… they averaged attendance in the 100s, and were a financial drain on the league. The USFL teams played in Canton, OH- and have never played a game in Pitt, Philly, NO, NJ… I don’t think that bringing any of them back is a given. Or necessary!

I’m going to say Kansas because I live there. But where in Kansas? Central Kansas would be great because it is accessible from all four sides. The only city in central Kansas that is remotely a consideration is Hays. Problem is, financing. I’m sure the state would fulfill the fan base.
Why does everyone keep suggesting cities that already have NFL teams? That's generally not a good idea. Former NFL are a good idea, so San Diego should be top of the list. I like the OKC idea too, and think that Salt Lake City could work.
I can't believe they contracted the Seattle Sea Dragons. I thought they had a great fan base? If they return, they might add a franchise in Portland o start a rivalry.
I think Denver is a perfect spot. Yes they have a NFL team, but the Colorado Rockies suck year after year after year and yet they have great attendance. An entertaining football team would sellout
Stop letting these teams play in these massive NFL stadiums of 80K and let them utilize MLS stadiums assuming they have an MLS team.....even if a team gets 30K a game which is great it doest look right in a 80K stadium
You don't really need Expansion this is how the UFL can work with 20 teams you can use old UFL teams and shuffle dropped teams and move Roughnecks out of Texas put them in Oklahoma you don't need 3 teams in Texas. Dragons back to Seattle, Vipers in Arizona and Guardians in the NY area maybe Hartford, Move the Breakers to Portland and Generals to San Diego, you have a naval base there, Maulers stay in Pittsburgh and Stars move to Utah, Bring back Bulls and Bandits, Bulls in Jacksonville and Bandits in Canton, then you bring back 3 UFL teams, Florida Tuskers, Sacramento Mountain Lions, Omaha Nighthawks, Now there goes your west coast travel, Seattle, Utah, Arizona, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland, Division: East Division Michigan Canton Pittsburgh St.Louis Hartford Southeast DC Memphis Jacksonville Florida Birmingham Centrel San Antonio Arlington Utah Oklahoma Omaha West San Diego Seattle Portland Sacramento Arizona
Some of those former teams wouldn't work bc like for New Orleans, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia the USFL didn't have any stadium rights in those markets so they never played in their home market. As for Vegas and Orlando both seemed to have bad attendance last season especially Vegas. I'd say Seattle would work though if they can get a few more teams in the west as well.

That sounds awesome! Would be cool to see that happen, thanks for the comment!
I love how California wasn't even on this list. When you where going off Population 😂 like bay area 7Million. And L.A. 18Million
Little Rock Arkansas needs a team!
Canton Bulldogs, Oklahoma Gamblers, New Jersey Generals, Pittsburgh Maulers, Philly Stars, New Orleans Breakers, Oakland Invaders, Utah or Reno Vipers, and San Diego.
I feel like the westward expansion will take some time but it is very important to the success of the league
They need to go out west so the west coast mfers will shut up lol
1. 80% of the us lives east of central Texas.
2. LA, the major population center of the west coast, barely supports the established nfl and CFB teams.
Hopefully they just take it slow and don’t expand to fast and it hurts the rest of the leagues finances
@@colincuratolo1645 Only negative to adding California teams is the high cost of Workers Comp Insurance there.
Bring back the Oklahoma Outlaws and the Arizona Wranglers, as well as the Denver Gold and the Oakland Invaders. Then Seattle sea dragons then maybe the San Diego Fleet.
Those are good suggestions, Thank you!
I don't see Oakland ever getting a team unless they clean up the crime
@@NostalgicSports48I personally think that giving Lubbock Texas a team would be cool, especially since lubbock doesn’t even have any semi-pro teams
@@Jamessmith-xk3fh Then San Jose/ Sacramento
@@Lowgraphicsdeer if Texas did get something go West Texas
Want them to stay away from the NFL cities. They need cites such as Portland, Columbus, Omaha, Oklahoma City or Tulsa, San Diego, etc
The Jacksonville Sharks have been a team making lateral league moves for a while... The UFL should've been in their sights this season.🤷🏾♂️ 4x AFL champions to the IFL though?
In the future maybe they will!
Hartford Whalers
Grand rapids is not bad either, call it the blues for the grand river and the great lakes😊
I say put in 2 new teams, teams I thought of, Chicago Mad Dogs and Phoenix Sidewinders, and bring back the Philadelphia Stars and Seattle Sea Dragons
The UFL Should tap into the California Market, SAN DIEGO, SAN JOSE
With time I’m sure they will be, I’ll be talking about Sam Diego in the next one
No TAMPA BAY teams I could care less about the UFL!!! Remember TAMPA BAY BANDITS!!!! 40 thousand season TIXS!!!
I say bring back the original teams from XFL, and USFL before going elsewhere like San Diego for example
Thanks for watching! Like and sub for more UFL, NFL, and College football content coming soon!
The Vipers should not be let in the league until they get a proper Stadium.
Wish they would have kept all the teams. Or at least most of them instead of a 8 team league at least have. 10 or 12.
I get the money probably isn’t their yet
Bring back New Orleans
CANTON Bulldogs should be brought back from the old UFL back in 60s
I really hope that happens! It would be awesome
Hells yes!
That would be dope fr, I would love to see a comeback for the Bulldogs!
Does Canton look like they have the money for team travels? Nah
The league is the one paying for the travel just like every other city
Leaving the Philadelphia Stars out was ridiculous. #1, there is zero northeast teams. Washington is in the mid atlantic but leaving out the largest media markets is silly on it's face and it will be felt. #2, the Stars, if you want to include the original 1983-85 franchise were in the championship game 4 of the 5 seasons. If the Maulers do come back they need to go back to the purple and orange.
Idk about the Arizona one, the cardinals already have trouble with attendance and I couldn’t see the people there really getting into it
None of the cities you mentioned are getting an expansion team. They must expand west. Look for a team to return to Seattle and a team in California, probably San Diego. Remember Fox wants TV viewership, they can't ignore the California market.
The xfl had a Los Angeles team, the wildcats, could help with its large population
But LA has two NFL teams. I would rather stay put a team in San Diego. Kinda like St. Louis when St. Louis lost their NFL team
Bring back to Orlando Apollos and New York Giardians!
we need the breaker and i think you should cover the prep super league they are getting player
Oakland Invaders ✊🏼⚡️
Would be awesome to bring them back! I covere Oakland in Part 2 of this video that I just released!
Let’s get a state that has like no teams. North or South Dakota!! Lol
I don’t even think they have d1 sports teams 😂 I could be wrong lmk if I am. But they need some representation lol
That would be an interesting choice to say the least lol
@@cinemalover4027NDSU and SDSU are D1 FCS schools.
@@cinemalover4027they do have D1 schools. They play D1AA football but are D1 schools and before the D1A/D1AA split transition from 78-82, all D1 schools played D1 football as there was no FCS or FBS.
They have the jackrabbits!
Where should the UFL expand to in the future? Lmk
Add Atlanta and Louisville to the list!!!!
I disagree with you on Canton. Everything else I agree with you on. Instead of putting a team in Canton, put a team in Toledo or Cleveland or Columbus makes more sense but could still have games in Canton. I think New York, Atlantic City, Phoenix, San Diego, Sacramento, Albuquerque, Atlanta, Las Cruces, Boise, Denver, Little Rock, Burlington, Baltimore, Myrtle Beach, Tampa Bay, Shreveport, Boca Raton, Raleigh, Billing’s, Louisville, Reno, Des Moines, Baltimore, Little Rock, Milwaukee, Portland Oregon and Maine, all of these cities here in the United States that I mentioned here along with most of the others you mentioned from the 8 not included in this merger plus new locations work.
@@michaelwall3393 thank you for the awesome suggestions!!!
San Diego needs somewhat of a football team
Have a UFL team in San Diego or Sacramento plus bringing back the New Jersey Generals with the new York market also the new orleans breakers
Fr San Diego especially after they lost the chargers!
New York and New Orleans definitely deserve teams! Their markets are to good to pass up on!
No question the generals and the breakers will return in the next couple of years
Add a team in St Louis.
@@legendaryTMNICO they have one already man. The St.Louis Battlehawks are the current team
These expension will be made by economial reasons. The biggest TV markets are LA area NYarea and Florida.I think there are the next teams are located. You cant earn money with a great senic view at the Stadium.
Need the Cleveland Steamers
Dude oh my God NAHHH
Baby it's cold outside and they have NBA NCAA basketball and AHL hockey
The USFL teams played in Canton, OH- and have never played a game in Pitt, Philly, NO, NJ…
I don’t think that bringing any of them back is a given. Or necessary!
wrong graphic for the Maulers
ARIZONA,oklahoma,New Mexico,TEXAS TEAMS CAN BEAT OTHER ,OMAHA,,Chicago,St Louis,Michigan,Minnesota, OHIO ,Louisville TEAMS CAN PLAY EACH OTHER nashville,Memphis,Birmingham,New Orleans Mississippi,Atlanta,North carolina, south carolina,Virginia,Tampa Bay,Orlando,Jacksonville,Miami,Arkansas teams can play each other Hartford,Boston,Philladelphia,Pittsburgh,New York,New Jersey CAN PLAY EACH OTHER,Portland,Seattle,Salt Lake,Denver,Reno,Boise,South Dakota can play each other
I’m going to say Kansas because I live there.
How about Oakland?
Stop letting these teams play in these massive NFL stadiums of 80K and let them utilize MLS stadiums assuming they have an MLS team.....even if a team gets 30K a game which is great it doest look right in a 80K stadium
They need teams in Portland and Columbus which both have MLS stadiums
How about Atlanta GA
They need to go to places where nfl teams are not.
What about Chicago the blitz and enforcers
Baby it's cold outside plus people want to see the Bulls , the Blackhawks and when it does worm up the Cubs and White Socks.
I think they need to put teams in Oakland, San Diego, and Oklahoma...
How about Oakland
You don't really need Expansion this is how the UFL can work with 20 teams you can use old UFL teams and shuffle dropped teams and move Roughnecks out of Texas put them in Oklahoma you don't need 3 teams in Texas. Dragons back to Seattle, Vipers in Arizona and Guardians in the NY area maybe Hartford, Move the Breakers to Portland and Generals to San Diego, you have a naval base there, Maulers stay in Pittsburgh and Stars move to Utah, Bring back Bulls and Bandits, Bulls in Jacksonville and Bandits in Canton, then you bring back 3 UFL teams, Florida Tuskers, Sacramento Mountain Lions, Omaha Nighthawks, Now there goes your west coast travel, Seattle, Utah, Arizona, San Diego, Sacramento, Portland,
Division:
East Division Michigan Canton Pittsburgh St.Louis Hartford
Southeast DC Memphis Jacksonville Florida Birmingham
Centrel San Antonio Arlington Utah Oklahoma Omaha
West San Diego Seattle Portland Sacramento Arizona
Great suggestion!! Thank you
Sacramento Ca but they wanna go west
i don’t know if the ufl will actually bring back the old teams since almost all the old teams were nfl markets. idk tho
Instead of New Orleans just make Independence Stadium the home of the Louisiana team in Shreveport
There's absolutely no chance of expansion. They merged for survival. There are not enough players, not enough fans to support much spring football.
If the league is a success they will expand, if not they will be like the other failed spring leagues. So he openly they succeed!!
Bring back New Orleans 😅
