I honestly think Conan truly wants to know about our culture because one he respects black people, two he doesn't understand or know a lot about us and genuinely wants to learn more about our culture.
He doesn't make fun of anyone else but himself.

Koolkid I’m from NY and when I walked in to Saks Fifth Avenue for a job. A white lady passed by me and just made a face, made me feel like I didn’t belong. I didn’t get the job anyways. They just set down my application to the side.
James Punting I did have retail experience and was recommended by a friend to apply there because they were hiring. I needed more of the experience. She didn’t have any either so I figured it would be worth a try...it just made me feel real bad like I wasn’t welcomed. That is what stood out for me the most, the experience of being there and trying to get a job.
