Once I moved the bees inside the greenhouse, they were much happier. So either they were mad about not ever being able to pollinate my plants since they were inside the greenhouse, or they didn't like being outside. I am pretty sure it was because they had no plants to pollinate. SO If anyone has eternally peeved off bees and no garden, try planting some plants for them to pollinate! I love my bees!
Try planting some plants into the earth, and then place bee boxes and sprinklers to get the area of effect that are both key in evolving your plants quickly. When you have both of those, then the only thing you would have to worry about would be the pests and the weeds
Yesterday, my first and favorite bee box got struck by lightning! I was pretty upset, looking at its charred remains. I figured they were dead, but my spellcaster Sim had the option to cast Repairio-and it brought them back to life! The partly-full honey was missing, but the relationship bar was completely full, just like before. Yay! I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere, so I thought I’d add it here.

Yeah production value on TH-cam has really gone up. And to be keen with that takes a lot of work. I would suggest you keep a template for your videos. Intro, intro roll, body, end roll. Then you can just copy that premier project everytime u do a new project. But yes consistent uploads still seems to favor TH-cam algos and few videos a week with high prod value is not easy if you have other stuff like jobs. But your content is on point and PERFECT. So I know you will ace it. God Bless

A good tip for angry bees is to get some flower arranging skill, make excellent quality arrangements, and scent with crocus. Then put near the bees to calm them down! When it wilts make a new one.

In my opinion you dont need to sell the honey because you can eat it any time (except work) and fill I around think 80% of hunger need, this is great time saver = ) And, yes, you can make honey cake with it (cake requires 2 honey)
Carl's The Sims Guides As I remember the cake provides the same moodlet as the honey jar, don't know about grand meal buff though, thus cake grants immunity to extreme heat too and has 8 pieces instead of 2 jars

It would suck if you sold all the honey, as you would need it to make honey cake, and to give your sim just enough time to warm up or cool down, depending on the weather

My bees are really grumpy, like enraged, and I am unsure on how to calm them down, the option to treat my bee box for Mites doesn't appear so I don't know whats wrong. Does anyone know how to calm my bees down or something?
I'm glad you asked, as I did not touch on this enough and I realize that now. Interacting with them (mainly via bond) gives them a mood lift. Their mood is always decaying, kinda like a Sim's will without socializing. Instead of getting sad they get angry. I have seven bee boxes on this lot and realized one is in the same situation as yours. When they're near max enragement it takes a few bond actions to get them off that level, so it will appear to be a waste at first. You can keep them calm by establishing a schedule with them. Mites will get them to irritated, but treatment brings it back to 0. At least bond once per day. Otherwise they will get to enraged without anything obvious happening. Bees kind of have a social need, I guess. For anyone else who finds themselves in this predicament, treatment can take them from enraged to calm, so one solution is to wait until they get mites. If going for a fast solution you could wait until your Sim is tired, queue up a few bond actions then sleep off the stings. Another little tip is that it's really hot in some worlds when bees are most active - Summer. The beekeeper suit seems to give a hidden benefit to heat tolerance for Sims, much like summer clothing so there is no need to worry about it overheating Sims. While you can't bond with them like this, there is no threat to wearing it.
Thank you so much! bonding with my bees worked perfectly. I have also found that at the level 3 flower arrangement skill your sim can scent flower arrangements with a bee calming scent. Though bonding with the bees and treating them for Mites works s much quicker! Thanks again.
Yeah - that has an aura that extends pretty far, so you only need one scented with it... I just wish you could put TImeless on it so that it stays fresh forever. I don't know for sure the aura stops when they rot.. need to test that.
Sometimes the bee box gets 'stuck' and needs to be reset so enable 'testingcheats on' then shift-click and choose 'reset'. If it immediately appears calm then you'll know it was a glitch. What is the area of effect for the bee box? Is it 5x5 for every bee box, including 5 blocks diagonally, or is it only five blocks horizontally and vertically?

Does the quality of flowers around the bees have an impact on their mood or honey, or just bonding with them? I was curious if their mood improved if they are around better quality flowers, or if the honey is better quality because of better flowers.
I do not believe so. One of the flower arrangements does offer a scent aura that calms bees, but that is all that I'm aware of. Otherwise their mood is kept in check by daily interaction.

You just sold Seasons to me... had no interest until now
