I remember playing this in grounded mode (not custom) And it was hell. Ammo was so scarce. You'll be lucky to find 1 or 2 pistol ammo. I had to depend on running away to hide, beating the enemies with melee and arrows since it's the only thing drop by enemies and the arrows can be retrieved if you get a clean headshot. Final thoughts on the difficulty, a pain in the ass but it was realistic and hella more fun
Just finished the game yesterday. Part 2 had highs and lows, but the Santa Barbara level was definitely one of my favorites. The surrounding area is just so damn beautiful, Ellie was right, it has a sunny gloom and it’s perfect. I had a blast playing

It is easy to grab supplies in super light and then play grounded... This mission was insane in true grounded. You had to get all headshots with the pistols to get through.
Nice headshots🔥 this part is the hardest when I'm doing it on regular Grounded with permadeath. So glad they didn't have dogs in this area otherwise my controller would be out my window joking😂 but the dogs make it even harder. Wish i was good as you
I just finished playing this game for the first time (hard mode) and somehow I never realized vertical takedowns we’re a thing you could do! I also realize I almost never used the explosive arrows.
I make it the hardest in each aspects only keep the ally part moderate,bcz it is so unnatural when your ally acts dumb,and put the resources part the lightest and keep the other parts the hardest,and I try to use melee as much as I can,this way game feels more realistic and funner to me😜

Yeah he definitely custom difficulty’d it. Not possible to be as kitted out as he is. I just made it to this level tonight & I’m runnin’ on fumes resource-wise. & I agree, if we had all the ammo it’d be a cakewalk.
The guy may have too much supplies for a true grounded experience, but at the same time I think he could easily through it without them, although the video would suffer as a result
Quick question man. I see you have the resources set to survival. I am looking to play a Grounded run but I want to clear out all enemies and areas for every level. Is this even possible on Grounded Resources difficulty modifier?

The vid is awesome! Don't get me wrong. The no rectical aiming is expert level! But you can't really call it a grounded playthrough on custom difficulty and cut the video. Just saying, the title is a bit misleading
You have unlimited ammo and touch of death enabled in over half the video, with the touch of death cheat being enabled in the entire video. You showed us at the beginning that this is custom mode, not grounded. If you were playing grounded, you wouldn't have been able to enable cheats, like you've done here.
No cheats here , played in custom grounded because change the difficulty from survivor to grounded in the same story , you can't change all to grounded in videos all grounded except sources survivor and showed combat accessibility off 😊

TheLegend27 what? It is obviously custom. In grounded u get the smg with 10 Bullets, my man got 60. It is like superlight and then changed to grounded. Also, when he gives a shot to the leg, the npc almost falls to the ground. This would never happen in true grounded.
I bought this game and never played it because of what a lame political cluster fuck it became, but it does look like a good time. I think I’m going to re-download.

Was it possible to clear all enemies on Grounded or are you forced to avoid conflict?
@@tylervincent2559 you can avoid them, or just go stealth, and kill one by onde with a really good strategy.

the way you deal with everyone, by sneaking around, leaving behind traps, and pretty much knowing your enemies exact movement is a marvel to watch
