As a musician, not just a finger practice work, professional and emotional expression and musical training are required. Dinu Lipatti plays each note pretty, leisurely and politely. He creates a percussive effect by playing with his left hand crossed quickly. Thanks, David!
The passion, the coversation that takes place between each voice, all are so clear and riveting in this performance.
What a pity that there is no "love" sign in TH-cam, just the thumbs.
Superb! Mulțumesc pentru postare!❤️🌹
Nobody plays the final bar like Lipatti as he holds the bass note throughout. It may not be in the score but I prefer it!
merveilleux

The Allemande tempo is far too fast! No one in the Early Music field today would choose that tempo.
No one?
Who cares? What Lipatti does is highly convincing.
Vive la différence. BTW, Bach put no tempo or dynamic markings in any of his music.
