Hey Mark, I’m a quadriplegic paralyzed from the shoulders down and have been so since August 19, 1970 due to a motorcycle accident caused by hit run drunk driver. I chime in not to make you feel bad, but to tell how liberating your videos make me feel. Keep up the work. 👊

Mark your videos are always amazing to me. I liked all three, I don't think I could pick a favorite. The scariest one is the river sunset. I am not as sure footed as I used to be in my teen age years and don't want to take a fall. I guess I need to get out more...I live in Colorado and pass up shots where you see awesome opportunities and beautiful sunsets. Your are definitely one of my favorite photographers. Incidentally, I am looking at adding the (AF-S Nikkor 20 mm f/1.8g ed) using my FTZ adapter to my Z50. Thanks again for the video.

Beautiful shots and I love the very clear way you explain your thinking, set up, and settings. I'm not a fan of heights so am glad there are fearless people like you around to go out and capture them for scaredy cats like me. I can't imagine the cliff walk in the dark back to the car after that sunset. In flip-flops no less. Glad you survived.

    Hi Mark,
I have a question concerning the adjustments you Tool in the first shot in the Canyon. With ISO64, Aperture 14 and shutter 1/4 looking directly in the sun should produce overexposure. Did you use an ND-Filter too?
    Thank you for your answer
    Kind regards Joachim

So morning coffee and then I get 3 Mark Smith upload notices...Whaaat!? The sunsets are all epic, the canyon shot gets huge points for the immense vista and effort to access (cliffside hiking in flip-flops??) lol. Both of the old house shots were super but I have to go with the second as it captured the drama of the moment so perfectly and I love moody skies. Question: I noticed you are using a Sirui tripod, which model and how do you like it so far? Off to watch 2 of 3. As always, thanks for sharing.
