Try to provide a trellis for yours “the sweet potato climbing herbs plants” (Ipomoea batatas). Climbing Herbs It’s one of the real botanical evidences which tell the living organisms that the plants are sentient. Use their climbing stems for the next propagation (generation) process but consume their roots and old leaves.
Don't throw away the Sweet Potato Greens ( leaf) those are edible too. They are a common food throughout Bantu communities in West Africa, and parts of South East Asia. Liberians eat Potato greens like folks eat spinach, very good for you, check out the recipes from Liberia, and other parts of West Africa and Asia.

yep after harvesting the sweet potatoes, we will cut the potato stems to make seedlings for the next crop
