I have to be honest. Ditch the seized engine and drop something out of a newer chevy truck in it. Parts are plentiful. Parts for THAT old straight six, will be hard to find and expensive when you do. Ditch the motor, trans and diff and put newer in it. it will be reliable and cost less in upkeep. Cool old rig. Looking forward to see where it goes. :)
I'm definitely staying tuned! Those stovebolt 6s are tough engines. Really hope you can break her free! I its doubtful anything got in through the intake as the air cleaner was on,and that long long tail pipe helps on that end too,
Find a later chassis. Like old motor home get disc brakes ps pb and wiring make it drive modern and safe and you will smile the miles away I did and love what my work and effort has produced
Not sure of your editing skills, but several of the other channels that make this content are very successful with LONG show everything videos. Up to an hour at times. THAT does take a LOT of editing time. But well worth it once you get monetized...YT revenue helps offset the project costs.
I tried to edit it so that it wouldn’t take so long to watch it but still get the full effect of what it took to get it out. Are you saying my video should be longer or shorter? Thanks.
Old iron is so wonderful! So many ideas!

In the early 50s i was hauled to school in a Chevy school bus just like this.
My dad had a 49 Chevy pickup at that time as well.
I’m looking for part 3. I’m happy that You are restoring this. Because something is old, does not mean it’s beyond usefulness.
