Thanks Lynn, this was great. Most of my querents have no question, so I totally understand where you are coming from. I love your matter-of-fact style in your videos. Looking forward to your upcoming videos on this subject. Hope to see you on the next Tarot Gathering!
Thanks Jane! I do get the sense from the Vince meetups that we parallel each other in philosophy. we should zoom sometime. Just drop me a line if you're interested! Lynn XXOO
I had my worst reading from a festival reader. She told me such horrible things, none of which were true, and I think must have had massive preconceived opinions about me. If I only had that reading, I would never have went back to tarot, but y'know what, I won't get read at a festival anymore.
OOOOH! I hope you'll change your mind at some point. I would have been pissed, too, had someone told me negative things. We have spirit guides around us all the time. They are there to direct us to our highest good - to help steer us away from things that will not serve us. The next time you are at a festival and run into a reader, ask a few questions like: What is your philosophy regarding Tarot? What does the Death card mean (hint: NOT Death!)? Why do you read Tarot? How do you receive your messages? And most importantly to me, Do you banish curses and provide cures? If they say yes to the last question, run don't walk! You will get a good feel for the reader in very short order with these questions. I'm truly sorry for your experience. When I do craft shows in the off season (I address this in my Fairs & Festivals series), I feel a responsibility to be a kind and caring advocate for our community. For these attendees, it's usually an impulse buy, and probably their first reading. To me, it's extra important to leave them feeling good about their experience. Otherwise, they walk away feeling just as you did. Thank you for your comment. Lynn XXOO
That’s Me! I never have a specific question but I want to know what the Tarot thinks at the moment. I am convinced the Tarot knows what is “happening “ at any given moment and knows what advice to give me ❤! And I am anxious to know that advice. Am I justified in still trying to learn and understand the Tarot? I love ❤️ the Celtic Cross Spread in particular.
Yes! You are justified. Diving into the intracacies of tarot just adds to understanding your own life better. I have several Celtic Cross videos out there. If you haven't seen this one, watch it! th-cam.com/video/2BWk87YahtY/w-d-xo.html and this one th-cam.com/video/mg4LpZGAlmI/w-d-xo.html. Thanks for watching! Lynn XXOO
