It’s that time of year for us again. Our Garden is thriving, and we always have something to do because of it. Preserving is always part of what we do. For the tomatoes we decided to make salsa. We use a lot of salsa throughout the year. The recipe we use is proven safe for canning by the Ball canning book. It was beautiful and tasty. I’m a clean freak when it comes to cooking and baking and washing my hands. I’m sure her hands were fine. The recipe in this video looks yummy! I’ve been thinking about doing my own canning.
These days, everyone should. We also freeze dry vegetables also as it preserves food for up to 25 years. Even if she were wearing gloves you have to wash gloved hands just as often.
Thanks for noticing! I told her that she should wear gloves when doing all the cooking and chopping. Although We wash our hands at least 100 times a day, it’s not enough I’m sure.
