I graduated from Georgia the bicentennial year 1985 after 6 years in the USAF and 3 years just trying to survive and pay bills. When I hear the Florida halftime speech, I get chills and literally start to tear up. That 2020 Florida game where UF scored 38 pts in the 1st half was the lowest point in all the losses I've watched Georgia have since the 80's. The passion that Kirby spoke with made me want to get up and run through a wall. It has now replaced the Larry Munson call "Buck Belue to Lindsey Scott" as the most hair-raising sound bite of Georgia football history! It couldn't be more awesome!!!

As a Bama fan that'll be the only perk for me when Saban retires. I have felt obligated to not miss a single second of this historic run and I haven't missed an Alabama game in 10 years or more. I've gotten lucky and I just always make sure to plan around my college football Saturdays. For me it's my one pleasure in life I like to enjoy.

I am a Georgia fan for life. Been cheering Go Dawgs since I was 5 years old back in 2000 started watching with my dad. I cried when that clock hit zero in the National championship game all we dawg fans have been through in the past few years
If you dont want to cry more I would recommended that you don't drill down on just how sorry GA's competition was. Bec you'll notice things like * the number of total losses that opposing teams wound up with, * # of 1st yr coaches played, * # of coaches who got fired bec their season was so bad that it could not help cover their other sorry seasons, * # of coaches in the bowl game that are 1-5 with the last 5 being the losses. What a great year for my state. Seeing Bennett break down gives me tears every time. My dad passed in 2017 and I have a feeling he saw this. He is one of the biggest UGA fans I ever met. My Aunt Marcy has been to every home, road, bowl and playoff game since 1983. So happy she was there. I want to get her on Gameday

Finished with 6 losses. * GT, who finished with 9 losses * MI, who is 1-5 in bowls under Harbaugh, didn't go to bowl in 2020. hasn't w bowl since 2015 and then there's AL, * who lost to an unranked A&M team * who beat 4 ranked teams during the regular season, 2 of which FIRED their coach. * who beat Aub, TN (see above) * who beat LSU who FIRED their coach One major reason the BCS went defunct when it did was because of the BAMA/LSU rematch. I had been transferred to New York and was in a ski lodge . I was the only person pulling for Georgia which made the game even more fun to watch and yell .7 Georgia grad and Dawg all the way !!
Words can’t describe how I truly feel looking back at last season. It’s the first week of April now here in ga and watching this is truly special. Dawgs on Top! Kirby is building something that no one can deny. Recruiting at a extremely high level and developing 3 stars like Jordan Davis, Ladd Mckonkey, Devonte Wyatt, etc… he has a great staff around him and things will only get better. Still very early in his coaching career. Thankful 🥲

EXCELLENT job with this great video as this is a season I will cherish for the rest of my life. I was a student at UGA in 1980 and my youngest son is a current student manager on this years team. Incredible season that I totally predicted they would win it all. The only thing that could have made the video even better was if you could add some coverage on the Championship Parade and Celebration in Athens. Go Dawgs !! Absolutely great man! Watched the whole thing beginning to end first time it popped up. I was born in 78, saw all the Herschel highlights, and cried often against against Bama, UF, UT, and Auburn many times. It’s so awesome to see what UGA has done now with Kirby since he joined. I think the UAB game truly showed how good we were. They were a solid team, and coming off of a top 5 win it could’ve been a let down spot for a lot of good teams, but we went out and completely dominated. GO DAWGS! GREAT VIDEO!
I would say the Arkansas game showed how good we truly were. We destroyed a team that was at the time ranked in the top 10, and by the end of the season was a top 25 team.

I'd like to offer a special thanks to JTproductions for giving Dawg fans this incredible chronicle of the greatest year in Georgia Bulldog history. I watched the 1980 season and the championship game and loved it but after graduating from UGA in 1985 Georgia football has been an inconceivable passion and football season is my favorite time of the year. The 2021 season reached the absolute pinnacle of excitement and happiness for me as a fan. To include the legendary half-time speech from Kirby at the Georgia-Florida game was the icing on the cake. I truly believe, after all those 41 years of good but not great and being frustrated with bad breaks, injuries and terrible calls Kirby has accomplished what we hoped he could. He has supplanted Alabama as the best team in the SEC and ushered in what I will always call the DOD! A repeat in the national championship 2022 will confirm that 2021 was inarguably the dawn of the Decade of the Dawgs!!!

What a season. That play against UAB where bowers takes it and just turns on an extra gear still blows my mind. That’s a TE. Dude is built like you designed a football player in madden and maxed out all the stats. By the time he leaves for the NFL he is gonna go down as the greatest TE in UGA history.

I was in South FL for basically the whole season. Not having a good time. Managed to catch every game on a TH-cam live stream. Finally moved back to Athens(hometown, thank god) three days before the Charl Southern game and got a ticket. It was awesome just to be in the stands again. Went to the peach bowl this year. What a ride Kirby has been taking us on
I watched this at least 4 times and still tear up. Thank you for include Coach Richt in it. That man means the world to us die-hard Dawgs. I am saddened to see his decline while battling Parkinson's. I pray for him and his family as they are all affected by such a debilitating disease. We love you Coach Richt! So cool that he was brought back to lead the calling of the Dawgs!

I'm a big OU fan and that rose bowl still pains me beyond words but yall were fun to watch this year. It reminded me of our early 2000 teams. Yalls defense gave me chills at times. That being said with Brent Venables back home I hope we see yall again for some payback.

I was born in 04 so my whole life I’ve seen us lose to Bama mostly while they had Saban. The pick 6 at the end felt so surreal like I was dreaming. We f-ing beat Bama AND won a championship. I only listened to my dad recount the 1980 championship but never thought I’d experience that same joy anytime soon before we got Kirby.

One thing you don’t hear mentioned often is imo one huge factor in the SEC CG was the fact that Georgia had a ton of players that were or had been sick with the flu. I mean we looked slow and tired early … makes sense to me that it was a major factor.
I think a video starting back with knowshon Moreno and then I think Gurley and kieth Marshall came in together and then we had Nick Chubb and Sony Michel and along came DeAndre Swift. I have not been impressed with any RB's since. I hope Branson Robinson is a beast looking individual.

My alma mater won it's first ever State Title in Football in 2020 and in Girls Basketball they are playing in the Final Four this weekend. My Bravos won it all last Novemeber. My Dawgs won it all in January. The college I attend will play this weekend for a shot at the GCAA Tournament Championship in Basketball and a trip to the National Tournament for the 2nd straight season. Right now I'm having the time of my life and hope it never ends.

Wondered the same. Maybe has something to do with possibly being drafted higher next year since Bama has had quiet a few WRs go in the first round compared to UGA. I may be wrong but if I remember correctly, AJ Greene was the last 1st rounder we had at that position.

The odds of that happening are astronomically low in 2021. Usually, it is the offense that mostly scores first in the season. What's more fascinating was that in 2020, UGA started a season with a safety and ended the season with a safety. Probably the first football team in history to do that

As a Bama fan that'll be the only perk for me when Saban retires. I have felt obligated to not miss a single second of this historic run and I haven't missed an Alabama game in 10 years or more. I've gotten lucky and I just always make sure to plan around my college football Saturdays. For me it's my one pleasure in life I like to enjoy.

There's an article on the web about LSU being paired with OU vs USC. In it, the writer says that if the same BCS formula was used in 2003 that was used BEFORE and AFTER 2003, LSU would have met USC. Who in their right mind believes Stoops was equal to Carroll then. Right, nobody.
* Bama vs TX. 6 play in and Colt goes down. Ok, maybe the backup was good. Wrong. He had not played virtually all season.
* Bama vs LSU. The game that was responsible for bringing the BCS down WHEN the BCS ended. Read about it. Nobody believed Bama deserved a do over, regardless of the LSU (no show) thumping. Nobody likes a tie. Why was OT created? So a NC in a system that went belly up.
* Bama vs ND. Nobody respects this NC.
* Bama vs Clem. Although perfectly legal, the 2 trick plays won this game.
* Bama vs GA. Tua left Bama 3-2 in games that mattered. 3rd worst bowl loss in 75 bowls. Most overrated QB in Bama history. Win that great or was it more of Herbie's stupidity in not being ready for him.
* Bama vs OSU. A 12-0 team meets a 7-0 team. Sure, right.
None of the NC can you really put in your pocket and say that was damn good. None!

I am a Georgia fan for life. Been cheering Go Dawgs since I was 5 years old back in 2000 started watching with my dad. I cried when that clock hit zero in the National championship game all we dawg fans have been through in the past few years
If you dont want to cry more I would recommended that you don't drill down on just how sorry GA's competition was.
Bec you'll notice things like
* the number of total losses that opposing teams wound up with,
* # of 1st yr coaches played,
* # of coaches who got fired bec their season was so bad that it could not help cover their other sorry seasons,
* # of coaches in the bowl game that are 1-5 with the last 5 being the losses.

I watch this entire video. As a lifetime Georgia fan who first game was 5 months old. Im thankful I lived long to finally see my team win a national championship.

One major reason the BCS went defunct when it did was because of the BAMA/LSU rematch. Most of the country and a lot of the SEC fan based hated the fact that Bama got a do over, regardless of the outcome with an no show LSU.
So fast forward and here were are with another 2011 scenario.
How can GA fans feel good about a NC that is tainted bec of the split series with Bama. And when the CFP prevents another rematch for teams that just met at the end of the season, then GA will really have to defend something that can never happen again.

I had been transferred to New York and was in a ski lodge . I was the only person pulling for Georgia which made the game even more fun to watch and yell .7 Georgia grad and Dawg all the way !!
Words can’t describe how I truly feel looking back at last season. It’s the first week of April now here in ga and watching this is truly special. Dawgs on Top! Kirby is building something that no one can deny. Recruiting at a extremely high level and developing 3 stars like Jordan Davis, Ladd Mckonkey, Devonte Wyatt, etc… he has a great staff around him and things will only get better. Still very early in his coaching career. Thankful 🥲

EXCELLENT job with this great video as this is a season I will cherish for the rest of my life. I was a student at UGA in 1980 and my youngest son is a current student manager on this years team. Incredible season that I totally predicted they would win it all. The only thing that could have made the video even better was if you could add some coverage on the Championship Parade and Celebration in Athens. Go Dawgs !! I was born in 78, saw all the Herschel highlights, and cried often against against Bama, UF, UT, and Auburn many times. It’s so awesome to see what UGA has done now with Kirby since he joined. I think the UAB game truly showed how good we were. They were a solid team, and coming off of a top 5 win it could’ve been a let down spot for a lot of good teams, but we went out and completely dominated. GO DAWGS! GREAT VIDEO!

I would say the Arkansas game showed how good we truly were. We destroyed a team that was at the time ranked in the top 10, and by the end of the season was a top 25 team.

I'd like to offer a special thanks to JTproductions for giving Dawg fans this incredible chronicle of the greatest year in Georgia Bulldog history. I watched the 1980 season and the championship game and loved it but after graduating from UGA in 1985 Georgia football has been an inconceivable passion and football season is my favorite time of the year. The 2021 season reached the absolute pinnacle of excitement and happiness for me as a fan. To include the legendary half-time speech from Kirby at the Georgia-Florida game was the icing on the cake. I truly believe, after all those 41 years of good but not great and being frustrated with bad breaks, injuries and terrible calls Kirby has accomplished what we hoped he could. He has supplanted Alabama as the best team in the SEC and ushered in what I will always call the DOD! A repeat in the national championship 2022 will confirm that 2021 was inarguably the dawn of the Decade of the Dawgs!!!

What a season. That play against UAB where bowers takes it and just turns on an extra gear still blows my mind. That’s a TE. Dude is built like you designed a football player in madden and maxed out all the stats. By the time he leaves for the NFL he is gonna go down as the greatest TE in UGA history.

I was in South FL for basically the whole season. Not having a good time. Managed to catch every game on a TH-cam live stream. Finally moved back to Athens(hometown, thank god) three days before the Charl Southern game and got a ticket. It was awesome just to be in the stands again. Went to the peach bowl this year. What a ride Kirby has been taking us on

I watched this at least 4 times and still tear up. Thank you for include Coach Richt in it. That man means the world to us die-hard Dawgs. I am saddened to see his decline while battling Parkinson's. One thing you don’t hear mentioned often is imo one huge factor in the SEC CG was the fact that Georgia had a ton of players that were or had been sick with the flu.
I mean we looked slow and tired early … makes sense to me that it was a major factor.
I think a video starting back with knowshon Moreno and then I think Gurley and kieth Marshall came in together and then we had Nick Chubb and Sony Michel and along came DeAndre Swift. I have not been impressed with any RB's since. I hope Branson Robinson is a beast looking individual.

My alma mater won it's first ever State Title in Football in 2020 and in Girls Basketball they are playing in the Final Four this weekend.
My Bravos won it all last Novemeber.
My Dawgs won it all in January.
The college I attend will play this weekend for a shot at the GCAA Tournament Championship in Basketball and a trip to the National Tournament for the 2nd straight season.
Right now I'm having the time of my life and hope it never ends.

I hate that he did but he made the right choice for him going to a team who passes more often with a quarterback who has heisman potential

The odds of that happening are astronomically low in 2021. Usually, it is the offense that mostly scores first in the season. What's more fascinating was that in 2020, UGA started a season with a safety and ended the season with a safety. Probably the first football team in history to do that
