    Andy, great information for students and faculty alike! I like to emphasis the difference between 'writing about what is in the literature' as compared to 'reviewing the literature.'

    I love your channel and seeing the work environment always motivates me to continue researching. I learn a lot from your tools, although many times I can't integrate them into my workflow due to lack of reliability (artificial intelligences) or tremendous limitations in the databases they use (like Litmaps). I keep watching everything you publish, though. Will trust in those tool at some point of development.

    • @pattywood586
      @pattywood586 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@oarabilejongani9736 I definitely think having AI do your research and writing isn't going to meet criteria for ethics but I would suggest only using the tools that don't cross that line. For instance, help drafting an outline can give you ideas to explore further or inspiration for how you might want to organize your ideas, but you still have to do the research and the writing yourself.

    This is timely! Just about to start digging for my dissertation proposal, this stuff is solid gold! Quick question though - is it ethical to use Jenni or Yomu autowriter for academic writing since technically you didn't do the writing? Will they wreck your Turnitin scores?

    I'm currently on my Masters degree, our Thesis has been cut down from 15,000 words to 12,000 words, however, the last unit is dissertation, the assignment, which is a literature review, has a 3000 words count. I've always found this restictive as your footnotes are also included.

I have buckets and buckets of references now I need to start reading though and Storting through so I'm going to read those but don't know if I should read everything before starting or go section by section
    EDIT : I also do have a full structure of what I want to do. just feel I don't know how to execute the plan its my first go

    Hello. I am a teacher in Greece and I have completed 2 and a half master's degrees (I am working on my thesis I my 3rd master's). I am very bad at meeting deadlines so I am not good at working with others, including supervisors, even though my work usually ends up good. I wanted to make a literature review and try to get it published, so in the future, if I try to move on a phd, to have something to show for it. Do you believe that by using these tools and by reading a lot could someone get his literature review published, without a supervisor or a university? Is it this even possible? Thank you in advance!
