"made in germany" is still alive. Interessant das mal zu sehen. Der Sprecher am Anfang erinnert mich an die Ankündigungen von großen "Blockbustern" - großes Kino. "action packed channels" 😅
I must say , that glowing blue plexiglass grabbed my attention , then my favorite guitar player was using one . That sealed the deal for me and I bought a Tubemeister Deluxe 40 . I was blown away . The only amps I will ever use from now on , but I absolutely love German engineering . Nice video !
I use the Hughes & Kettner Duotone with a H&K Custom Class 4x12 with V30s and the g12 30 anniversary speakers (x pattern) and it sounds awesome at home and in a full band mix. I’m not sure if the MK3 has a second master volume, for me that is such an underrated feature, However the stuff I’ve heard of this MK3 amp it’s incredible, it can really do a lot, the self biasing feature is such a good idea when using so many tubes and if you are out gigging a lot. Brilliant piece of kit, I can see it being an amp for life and if you are an experienced player you will get this dialled in beautifully 👌🏻 Definitely intrigued to see if we get a MK4 in the future maybe with the same features plus the second master volume added and possibly IR’s and effects like the lunch box heads. Either way great work as always Hughes & Kettner 👏🏻
Thanks for your kind words, TriAmp Mark 3 has a 2nd insert, it's called "Master Insert", where you can use a volume pedal for Master-Volume controll "on the fly" :-)
It will be great if you can share a few seconds of the basement test run at maximum loud! Many of us don't have any possibility to put the Triamp at that level and listen how it sounds 🎸📻
I would love to try a Triamp of any version but they're probably way too loud, my Grandmiester 40 with the 1x12 could get me enough noise complaints if I turned it up on max wattage already. 😅
you´re right, in most situations a 40 watt tube amp will do the job. In many cases, people estimate the wattage of an amplifier completely falch. Just because 100 sounds like a lot, they often think that it has to be just that. With the 40 watt Grandmeister you can already "pull a few slices of sausage from the plate" (as we say in Germany) ;-)
I'm a GMD40 user for years and never look back since then, the sound produced is fantastic & pure analog. Just a question, are you guys reproducing the triamp mkiii?
i have one tubemeister 20 and i love it, but i need change the tubes already and the customer service is very poor about that i sent an email asking about that and i didnt get any reply back
It's definitely not the best sounding amp ever made. Still very interested in watching this! Their made in Germany amps are built like a tank, the Grandmeister and other MIC ones....not so much.
Now, sound is always a matter of taste, of course, yet the versatility of the TriAmp Mark 3 is unmatched in its class to this day - and thus the most versatile basis for true, and completely different, Trade-Mark tube sounds within a sound chain. The same applies to GrandMeister & TubeMeister, as they benefit greatly from the development of the TriAmp, whose sound DNA has been heavily incorporated into these lunchbox amps.
Im not to sure you ever played one because you wouldnt have taken the time to push out this epic reply. Listen i dont know where your from but every amp you have ever seen or played was probably worse then your MIC branding. Wood head cabinets? Cheap non painted chassis? Hand wiring?! Reason nobody does that anymore is it sucked. Too many inconsistencies. But your a consumer! Go consume. Just realize smart people are watching you making sure they dont make your mistakes.
We also have many amplifiers with fewer buttons. But if you want to use all the possibilities of the TriAmp Mark 3 comfortably, you also need a lot of controls.
Come on, H&K. What’s with the AI voice over? You’re better than that. You’re a musical instrument company. Hire an actual voice over ARTIST, don’t buy into this AI nonsense. Why should artists support your company if you won’t support artists?
The use of AI is often viewed critically, but AI can often even help to preserve or even create jobs. Why? If we use AI for a voice-over, for example, and thus save money in this area, we can invest more in our needs elsewhere, namely where we neither want to nor can do without the human mind, creativity, performance and sensitivity: In human labor where it is indispensable, in development, in production, in marketing and so on. We build “musical instruments” where the human being is always at the center on both sides of the coin - in the creation and in the use of the instrument. - AI even helps us to create and maintain jobs and secure them for the future. Which is not so easy in times like these!
