iOS can probably play The Witcher 3(Or at least XCOM 2) simply for the fact iOS has hundreds of ps3/ps4/PC games available. Most developers make “free” games on iOS designed around minimalist gameplay/graphics for money and the games that aren’t are few and far apart so we really don’t truly know how powerful iOS is. Civilization 6 on iOS has shown me that you can put all the DLC(and the base game)into 1 single iOS game version as IAPs while still making good money on a few people willing to pay that high pc price and retain around the same quality as the PC..and all on a 2GB Ram phone, simply killing renewable micro transactions, so imagine what iOS games could be as the Ram level increases to the current 6GB To add to this, IOS 13 gave iOS gamepad/ mouse/Trackpad support so you don’t even need the touchscreen so games will get better for this.
