This healed something in me. As someone with a winter birthday sometimes celebrations aren’t as big as the summer birthdays because of the weather and the holidays. Even though she’s still young and likely won’t remember this birthday everyone still showed up to make her day special. Happy Birthday Novie!!!

At 69 yrs old my retired mom bought a fully decorated dollhouse mansion at an estate sale for $6k. All the furniture and everything. She always wanted one and loved it. As kids she would take us into hobby shops and admire all of the tiny furnishings for miniature doll houses. She passed away 1 years later. Never wait too long do what you want. ❤

Have you guys heard of the Christmas pickle tradition?! It’s basically a green pickle ornament that someone (a parent) hides in the tree…it blends in quite well because of its colour, but whoever finds the Christmas pickle gets to be the first one to open a present! We had loads of fun doing this as a kid on Christmas morning! 💚🎄

Honestly? Ottie did way better than I thought she would at not being the center of attention for the day. She's a clever and kind girl and has great parents, I'm sure with time she'll get even better at sharing the spotlight and learning that making who we love feel special on their special day is just as fun as feeling special on your special day.

I have Cerebral Palsy and struggle massively with health anxiety and your videos are always a huge comfort. I have been watching for quite a while and watch videos of you and mark almost everyday - I don’t think there’s one where I haven’t belly laughed. I admire your friendship so much and reminds me how lucky I am to have my own amazing group of friends like you too. I was watching you guys religiously during my gcses and now I’m in my final year at sixth form and still gravitate towards you guys if I need a pick me up. I hope Novie has had an amazing first birthday, it was actually my birthday on the sixth as well! And my sisters is the day before Ottie’s. It’s crazy how close the dates are and how much I have been able to relate to you especially on the emetophobia side of things. In my family we take turns when we open presents but we don't consciously think and do it, just a respect thing that we always have and it has became a habit since we we're little. We don't do it in order, we wait for one sibling after the other with each present, then we leave the parents' presents last! Happy Birthday Novie

I’ve just thought you have to take the girls up to beamish in durham! Yous would absolutely love it, it’s even better at Christmas, my brother lives on the farm on site so every spring I get to go bottle feed their lambs and hold the piglets it’s so special. Everytime I go it’s like stepping back 50 years. My grandad also drives the trams there, it’s such a special place where I grew up I just know the girls would love it

In my family, we have never had stockings or presents under the tree. Everyone has a "sack" (pillowcase) each, which have all of our presents in. The grandchildren open all their presents first at the same time, then followed by all the parents and grandparents opening theirs together ❤

I love the dolls house exhibition. I have a patient who buys basic dolls houses then wallpapers them, puts flooring down and then puts furniture and accessories in and then sells them. The photos she showed me were amazing. I would like a dolls house now, only got boys so need to wait for Grandchildren in the future 😜
