A beautiful time of the day to you, my lovelies! I’d like to offer you a new composition which I called ‘Phantasmata’. Struggle is a burden that any creator bears. So when a writer sits down to write a book, they have a thorny road ahead of them. I would like to dedicate this song to every one of you who attempts such an undertaking. May the muses be with you, and the calm winds favour your sails! May the editors fight for the right to publish your beautiful creation! *_Tell, my dears, do remember the first book that left a memorable impression on you? Also, if you’re a writer, please share, what do you find most difficult and most rewarding in your job?_*
I've only ever written short stories and my favorite part of the process is creating a twist in the tale one wouldn't expect. The hardest part of writing is motivating myself to finish a piece when I know there would be few, if any, readers.
I have many thoughts on such a matter but I would have to say that both the Series of Unfortunate Event series by Lemony Snicket and the Year One trilogy by Nora Roberts left both impressions of wonder and inner insight into this existence we call life, respectively. For me, the hardest part of writing is finding the balance between the world outside the pages and the world one creates within. Sometimes one's own reality can be demanding as a newborn whilst the very work one creates is as a becoming child in of itself. Although not a parent literally I am one metaphorically as I have both worlds that demand my attention. Nevertheless it is rewarding when all is said and done and the finishing period is put at the end of a long tale.
Here, there be dragons was probably the first book that made an impression on me. I watched Peter Jackson's lord of the rings trilogy as a kid and since then I've always loved fantasy and adventure but hated books since the ones given to me by my grandmother and school were too close to the real world for child me to find interesting. It was when they told me that I HAD to read something and made me choose out a novel for myself that I found out I can find the adventures I've been looking for in the written word. As a kid I wanted to make videogames but the entire industry of it disgusts me and I'd rather just write by myself now. I hate the process and how often I'm stumped or lost for days on end just finding a good way to describe an object or a person just for it to spiral into some obsessive depression. But it's also worth it for the times when I'm actually on a roll. It is one of the best feelings to just be able to sit down for hours write down page after page, and then to be actually satisfied with it when you're done. It's one of the best feelings I've ever known. It's just nice to create.
A long time ago I have written many poems about sadness, solitude, desire and the darker side of life. Somehow I stopped it after a while but I can't say why I gave up writing. Yes I know the process of building your own world and putting feelings on paper and express your thoughts you can not tell in another way. I hope I can help others with these few lines about my experience on writing. I think, you don't have to try to write a formally good poem, the most important thing is to be aware of of your feelings in a certain moment. If you ignore the structures and the noises out there in the real world, you can create your own reality with your own rules and feelings. Sometimes, these aren't positive thoughts and you get overwhelmed with dark fellings like fearness and sadness but you can form them into words and put them on paper. It can be difficult the find the right expression or the right words about your current feelings but don't try to find the word that would figure the most in context, try to note your impressions about the current moment and your thoughts about a matter. Once you are able to center yourself and listen mindfully to your inner voice, you will be able to be creative. Be also aware that it is not only a moment that you want to write down, it is the eternity of a moment that a poem is about. Don't be afraid of any feelings and impressions you might have when you are thinking about something. Your inner world can be a place of calmness and peace but it can also be dark and stormy. It is seldom a place of a perfect balance but this is a source of an unsteady circuit you must keep in mind. Keep in mind that you are the creator and the destroyer of your own world. you can be an archivist of ideas but you can also obliterate everything and consider the ruins. It is always an interaction of the extremes and the result is the balance between dark and light.
This is perfect. If I could work, live anywhere, it would be a vintage style bookshop with eccentricities everywhere...even the customers. This is beautiful. 📖
There are places called Kadikoy and Beyoglu in Istanbul. The town has so many bookstores all play amazing musics outside. There are some bookstores between apartment entraces.
I have a vacation trip in Europe and I am alone. During the past week I was walking on trains and on my feet while listening to this beautiful musical masterpiece. It will be more beautiful when you look at the buildings and people going to work or going out or in cafes, restaurants and bars.

It’s a cold autumn day, overcast and gray as rain drizzles down on the main street. Few people are out but those that are hurry to their destinations. Bundled in coats and scarves, heads bowed down with bags slung over shoulders. One shop in particular glows with an inviting light, its glow cascading down onto the sidewalk and it is called The Golden Bookstore.
