Currently a high school senior. Recently got accepted to my first choice university. Planning on majoring in Neuroscience. Can’t wait to start my journey to medicine!
Thank you for this video! I will be a psych major in the fall. I was worried I won’t get my prerequisites. I talked to an adviser and my school offers a premed track! A real bummer is that covid has caused coffee shops and libraries to close :(
hi there!! I actually don’t know the answer to that, since I went to a 4 year undergrad so I don’t have the experience of a community college. I don’t think it’s unheard of though! just less common
I just recently graduated High school but I was wondering dose me going to community college dose that like harm me for being or wanting to be a pre -med student. and like would I have to do things differently
I think it depends - I withdrew from a course because I had registered for too many and it did not show up on my transcript. You just have to leave the course early enough based on your school’s requirements!
This video is amazing! Too bad I found this as soon as I finished my freshmen year 😭😭. I’m a psychology major, but I’m getting my pre-med requisites and I really wished I dropped my calculus class. I refused to drop it and I raised my D to a C+ with the hopes that I could maybe get a B- but I didn’t make it 😭😭😭 if I had gotten a 91 on my final I could have gotten the B- but I got an 85 😂😂😂.
it’s okay!! one low grade won’t hurt your chances too much :) Just make sure you try your best and do well from now on! I recommend talking to premed advisors for specific advice if your school has them!
High school senior rn, starting this fall as a biology major, aiming for that a high GPA!
you got it!!

Me too but I’m starting pre med classes this summer 😬
If you Withdraw from a course this looks bad too for med school..

High school senior got accepted into college start in the spring. I put biology as a major but I’m in between bio and chem.
good luck!! those two majors share a lot of prerequisites so it’s easy to change if you want to :)

Hey, I’m a premed. But I’m really wondering which math classes did you have to take? Did you had to take calculus and stats?
Thank you so much. Did you take calculus 1 and 2? Or just 1? Is biostatistics different than regular statistics?
Thank you so much
Thank you so much. You’re a life saver ❤️
