@@robfinlay8058 this is funny to me because you can literally just watch/listen to the present stuff without Dave but you don't wanna let the guy do what he wants lol
It was great hearing Jerry and Jeff telling stories on Tales from the Territories. I am sure that Jerry had a million stories to share. Sad to see another pivotal person in wrestling history pass away.
The "WWE brought families to wrestling" ret-conning history is such nonsense. Houston territory shows would include a segment where the announcer read out that week's birthdays of the kids in attendance. And kids and women were always in attendance in Memphis and Dallas and many other places.
The fact that there's no mention of this on WWE's website, but a video about Nikki Bella's awful TV show is right there, tells you all you need to know about the current state of wrestling. How effing sad.
And that illustrates the pettiness involved. He was a great influence on the wrestling business and they can't give him two sentences of a memorial after his death. Sometimes in life, you have to act like an adult and do the right thing, not the "Feels good because I'm mad at you right now" thing.
Stop. The Khans are a ten billionaire family. That's eff you money. They own sports franchises in three continents. The Jarrets are rich, but they didn't have eff you money.
Say what you want about Dave but he really excels in these history pieces
It always amazes me to see how much stuff he knows and can remember about pretty much anyone in the business.
Good call
Dave should just do historical stuff and leave the tawdry stuff to Bryan and the other underlings.
100% agree

Listening to Dave talk about the history of the old territory days is a beautiful thing.
even JC doesnt deny that
RIP Mr Jarrett

Noooo I'm crying so much
So many legendary promoters passing away recently. RIP

@coldsnap5742 damn that sucks
@Cold Snap did not see the WHO reference coming but that's very true.
@@maklame3318lol uhhh that’s most promotions prior to 1982 🤦🏻😆
Bruce Prichard was never fair to Jerry Jarrett
What’re you talking about? The tv production guy in WWF? Is that who Bruce Prichard is? Brother love, ya? What about him?

It’s because of Jeff’s recent hire/fire. They’re upset with him now that he’s with AEW

@@xGodofAcidx a great influence…? Jerry jarret is widely regarded as the second greatest promoter in the history of rasslin, behind mac mahon jr
@@xGodofAcidx come on man how long have you been watching wwe ? Expecting them to do the right thing would make you a fool.
That story about when you’re older and have a son you’d understand can be attributed to the Khans
