Mancera Instant Crush Review - Sweet, Vanilla Fragrance - Makin’ Scents

- In this video we take a look at the house of Mancera and their fragrance Instant Crush. This is a 2019 Release from the house that initially was not the easiest fragrance to find in the US. I was lucky enough to obtain a bottle early in 2019 and another bottle just about 1 month ago at the time of this recording. Many people compare this fragrance to MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, Bond No. 9 Greenwich Village and other sweet fragrances. I hope you really enjoy this review.

You already know, I LOVE this one. I only have 3 Manceras and this is my favorite so far, and also one of my favorite frags overall. Was my scent of the day yesterday and got quite a few compliments which was pretty cool. I was a little nervous because I could smell that floral/rose note the first time I sprayed it but it is really light and fades pretty quickly. I like br540 and do get the comparison but I actually like this alot more. Has more punch to it. Im even more happy that I only had to pay $10 for mine. Koushik waffle win!!

How about instant crush?! I heard it’s quite similar to these 2 as well. I wanna buy 2 between MFK Baccarat Rouge 540, MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 EXT, Initio Oud for Greatness and Mancera Instant Crush. Longevity is quite important for me and I heard that MFK BR 540 EXT last way less than the original. Which 2 of them would you recommend?
I’m a huge fan of Br540 EDP - and for the pricing I’d go with that one over the Extrait. ( based on the $ alone). As for the others Oud for greatness and Instant Crush are both great!!! I have all 4 of these and for longevity Br540 EDP I would say lasts the longest for me. (Have worn it the most too). Instant Crush can be found at some great pricing on Frag comm so that may be my 2nd pick unless price is no object then Br540 EDP and Oud for Greatness

If you are active in the Facebook community definitely check out some orices there before ordering retail because you will save a lot of $. I’m currently living in South Korea. Here, perfumery isn’t a thing. It’s pretty much impossible to find niche perfumes here. I have to import pretty much everything but I always go for discounters in America, France and England. That’s why I don’t think Facebook can be that advantageous for me. But anyways, thanks for the tips. I’ll make sure to at least check Facebook groups :)

Can't find a site that samples this one. I'm interested in both this and BKR540 but I don't wanna blind buy.. Blind buying a clone of 540 is OK I guess but wanna know if I would enjoy this or 540 more, or maybe none of them lol..
Are you in any of the Facebook groups? On there you can get many people that will have decants available and you can ask for references. It’s very easy and you will find fragrances at great prices.
I am not really a rose fan... I can’t get any mancera fragrances in my city , I have to purchase them online, which means I have to blind buy them. It’s about $145 online right now.
Every talks about cedrat bois. Do you like it?
I love Cedrat Boise - to me it is a clean Aventus type fragrance without the ambroxen blast. I’m not a fan of rose at all when I can smell the actual note this one honestly I would recommend getting a decant or trial size just to see how it works for you.
I just blind bought this fragrance. I am a fan of 540, and I’m sure I’ll like this fragrance. I’m a frag head and I’m sure this will go well in my collection.

It’s some strong stuff and I had a decant that was not working so I blended it with some Aventus and wow it was amazing. 70/30 as far as the percentage heavier on Instant Crush . Nice video
I believe that would be an amazing mixture!!! I have blended Aventus and Br540 and I love it. I even went so far as to blend br540, Instant Crush and Greenwich Village for a sweet bomb lol. I’m going to try this mixed with Aventus thank you for that recommendation!!!

Many people jump on the hype train in different instances. For me I enjoy these sweet or candy type fragrances unless they have a strong floral etc. Thank you for watching I appreciate it

Ooooohhhhh that’s a good question. The fragrance I have had come back and give me the “Are you serious” response is MFK br540 Extrait. That lasted on my clothing for like 2 days. I also had insane projection from Amouage Fate Man over 5hr of projection easily and it lasted all day and beyond. Thank you for watching

Nice review of what you like. The "in the same wheelhouse" comment helps me look at it, or some other fragrances that might be like it. I saw 1 Mancera fragrance at the discounter this Christmas, and I didn't buy it, and I sort of regret it. Thanks for your sign off tag line.

Great job. Love Instant Crush also! I do own BR540 EDP and only have a 10ml of this but def consider getting a bottle just been waiting for the price drop lol. Another one I like not Mancera but sister house Montale is Sensual Instinct it has a bit of the BR540 vibe but its darker with coffee and praline. Worh a try for sure. Thanks a lot.

I may have to get my nose on the Montale. For some reason the bottles from Montale have been a turn off for this guy. I’ll always give a fragrance a chance though. Out of This one, Sensual Instinct or Br540 do you have a favorite?

I think Sensual Instinct is a bit darker maybe better for night and or colder weather and Instant Crush is brighter and BR540 is kinda in the middle I really like them all. I will say I didnt like Sensual Instinct as much right off the bat as I did the other 2 but grew to like it a lot. Appreciate ur great interaction with ur subs!

This is definitely one of my favorites in the house, right behind Black Vanilla. To me, this smells like the orange creamsicle version of BR540. I own both, but I actually like Instant Crush a little more!
I can see that orange creamsicle reference ( not until you just said that lol ) with the mandarin or what not note in there with that creamy vanilla it’s very nice. Now I need to try Black Vanilla, what is it about BV that makes it your favorite?
@@Mikdj00 You'll know as soon as you smell it! It's intoxicating! The vanilla they use in it is amazing, and it has an amazing coconut note that's more prominent in the top, but it eventually settles behind the vanilla. It's a beast as well!
