Always enjoy the videos, but man, that's expensive and a lot of work! I'll stick with my cheap 5 X 10 trailer! 😁🤣 lol! Stay healthy and well! Keep up the terrific content! 👍👍 P.s. we miss Cass's smile and laugh! 🥰
My trifold ramp with ski guides on it works great for both atv and snowmobile. I only have to have that one ramp. And it slides under my atv when traveling. And I slide it between the ski and track of my sled. Then pick my back of the sled up and set it on the ramp for traveling. Seems a lot easier and less expensive.
Nice ramp system, great video's on it. Please do a third video, showing the full loading, strap down, arrival at location, unstrapping and unloading... the full monty so to speak lol
@@MainvilleATV Kyle, you need us to send you some food to make sure you survive until then?! I can order an emergency pizza if necessary! Let me know if ya start feeling faint! 😂🤣
Where do you put the track ramp after the sled is loaded? Seems like it would have to lay between the side of the bed and the sled. Any concern with damaging the side panels?
I thought about getting a set of MadRamps. But I think a sled deck will just work better. Can use it for well... sleds a quad or a sxs. And I've got another truck available for when I need to use the box for getting stuff thats tall. But I do like the design of the MadRamps it works good.
Like I say in the videos, I really dont think this set up is for everyone but I'm proof it's a solution to a problem. More so on the atv side of house for me
Hey do you still use this snow mobile ramp? I bought the mad ramp and it’s great for atv but wondering how well it works in winter. Did you issues with red levers freezing with ice etc. Also how was ease of loading and unloading? Do you think studs would tear up tail gate and truck bed or does centre is pedestal prevent issues. Thanks I’m advance. Loading Polaris VR1 137
Good video, is there enough clearance to load a sled with a hard tonneau cover? I have a trifold that covers about 6 inches when folded against the rear window. I’m hoping with this system I don’t have to remove the tonneau cover. I have a GMC Sierra short bed 5.6 box.
you should convert the center ramp , make it telescopic ! btm of ramp can be skinny because sled only really uses the upper part the ramp for traction , rest is support . just my 2 cents.
@@MainvilleATV sad part is I NEVER use any of them. The 12 foot aluminum is just too dang easy to hook up and load!! New toy, new ramp, grab the trailer!!! 😂😂
Didn’t get to see how the ramp stores with a sled in the truck. This is close to what I’m looking for. The middle part of the ramp doesn’t have any stud protection.
Absolutely, I find them very versatile and have been using them in all conditions: trail, mud, summer, fall, winter, water, etc. Kyle has purpose driven sets of tires that he switches out based on terrain etc, but I use my sludgehammers for everything and keep up just fine. Hope this helps! - Cass
I have a question about a 2020 outlander 450. The brake light illuminates very late when using the brakes. It appears that the brake lever needs to be pulled in very far in order to activate brake light switch. Are there any adjustments that can be made to allow brake light to illuminate when we use normal brakes?
Odd issue. Mine activates instantly. I'm assuming the would be some sort of adjustment that and be made but I have no idea. I'd look for the ability to move the activating switch closer to the handle. Not sure off the top of my head
@@MainvilleATV. Thank you again for the fast response. I looked at my brake lever and foot brake. No electrical. A forum states something about a hydraulic switch somewhere in the brake line. Hmmmmmm.......... By the way, you guys have a great channel. From the way you and your wife do things together, reminds me of my wife and I. We raced RC cars, go karts and now ride atv's together. Great to see your life together. Also, your mechanical know how of these machines and products is awesome!! My wife and I watch your channel all the time. You both are awesome! Thank you for your help.
Nice ramp for sure! But I'm not spending a grand on them....too many arts to f*ck with (pardon my language) it's what I thought of just imagining the whole process of assembling this thing. There's gotta be less expensive ramp system than this one. good review though it illustrates what the assembly process is going to require
I like this system for the atv and sleds. Everytime you do a video drake is always working on his stuff .... could this be a sign of needing a brand change lol. Phat pat might be upset at your other comment about Polaris atvs 😂
Haha drake's always tinkering it's true. I think he is trying to beat the arctic cat out of that yamaha. Polaris does skeds and utv amazingly. I cannot get on their atvs
Unfortunately we just moved to Saskatoon this past summer. Doesn't mean we won't be back that way in a couple years though. Thanks for watching and reaching out! - Cass
I was refering to the truck licence plate view being obstructed. Some cops ticket for that in Ontario Canada. At the same time the Toronto Police use the same 2"trailer hitch bicycle carriers and do not give themselves tickets. Someone with bicycles on the back are not the type to run from an accident or the cops. Sad

It does have to store with the sled. I simply strap in down with the snowmobile skid, no worries at all!
Why not design it so it stays purmently on the ramp
Wouldn’t there be an issue with melting the plastic on the ramps with the exhaust? Or is it able to take the heat
I dont see it no, my truck liner can handle that no issues and the bed protectors I get the impression will take the heat too.

Will this work with a ez-go 6 seater golf cart?
They've shown golf carts on them but I've never personally done it.

If you're talking about the sled under the cover it depends on your sled? No idea. I can say I had mine fit with a cover folded.

Quick ? I am looking at 28"sludge hammers for my grizzly. How are they for day to day riding. Are they tolerable for the odd dry trail day?
