This feels like coming full circle. I came to this channel in the early Splatoon 2 days as I was getting into that game. Then, in March 2020, this Animal Crossing thing was happening, and I was someone who’d known about AC but never tried it. I had no idea what was going on. But this random Splatoon TH-camr iI liked was doing tutorial content for AC! And now, we’re back for Splatoon! Which I know about, but it’s fun to see the Splatoon stuff start.
Great video! But, c'mon, not even mentioning Salmon Run? There are tons of people who don't like playing against other players, like myself, and Salmon Run is the perfect mode for us. Salmon Run still utilizes tons of the stuff that is in the PvP side of Splatoon and puts a way greater emphasis on movement than on aim. And the movement this game has is arguably the most appealing movement a shooter ever had! I swear, a looot of people who don't like playing against other people, but love to learn movement in a game like Super Mario Odyssey, would absolutely love Salmon Run!

I was considering buying It because I love the Lore, I LOVE the idea, I really really like all the aesthetic and stuff, even drew myself some Inkling OC's when the first one came out! But paying 80 dollars to play a game fully, c'mon.
I started playing the splatoon series in 2017. I got splatoon 2 for my birthday along with a Nintendo switch. I absolutely love this series and I can’t wait for splat3. I enjoyed splat2 when I first got it, but I took a couple breaks from it cuz I thought that it was getting boring and I ended up missing all of the splatfests including the final fest. I did do chicken vs egg and super mushroom vs super star. All I’ve been doing is waiting for this game. This world premiere will be my 3rd splatfest. I’m so excited and I can’t wait

But I've never actually played it because I'm wary of games that throw you in with random strangers. If your getting Splatoon 3, it doesn't have the octo expansion, that's in splatoon 2. If your saying your getting spatoon 2, it would be better if you just got 3 at this point
I’m so excited, I remember my friend and I got a switch for Christmas the same year in middle school both with splatoon 2, then Covid hit and we didn’t have any classes together for years, but now we have one this year and we are both going to get together to play splatoon 3 when it comes out
I feel a little salty that Nintendo potentially gave up developing more DLC for Animal Crossing for a what is essentially a shooter. Sure shooters are great sellers just look at Valorant, Overwatch and all the others. But being creative and collaborating with the community is so much more important in my opinion. i’ve been wanting to get splatoon since the beginning of quarantine, but i kept hearing about a new addition to the series so i held back on purchasing splatoon 2. when splatoon 3 got announced, i was all for it. when the world premiere came out, i played it for a bit but i was busy and could only play for an hour, and now i’m longing for the game to release and to get an extra 30 bucks to get the game and renew my nintendo switch online membership lmao. i’m seriously so excited for this game. i had so much fun, and it’s the first time i was genuinely happy doing something in a while.

Also I have seen many people making comparisons between Splatoon and Fortnite. From what I can tell so far, Splatoon is NOTHING like Fortnite. At least from a MTX standpoint which is a MAJOR plus.

Interestingly, you don't shoot other people and the ground, instead your only required to hit the ground and can ignore others if you wish since kills/splats don't count towards anything :)
