AGTALIN SHRINE | Once the tallest Marian statue in the Philippines | PILAR CAPIZ

Agtalin Shrine is located at the top of Agtalin Hill in Barangay Dulangan, Municipality of Pilar, Capiz.
Constructed on top of the Agtalin Hill Chapel, it features an 80-foot-tall Marian statue, which was
completed in 1993. Accessible via 185 steps, the shrine offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area.
Thousands of devotees visit the Agtalin Shrine every first Saturday of the month to honor the
Blessed Virgin Mary and attend the healing Mass/prayer for the sick. It is believed that some
faithful with incurable diseases were healed by praying at the shrine.
