Thanks for the effort! Please when you do the follow up unit video I great detail every step of the way don’t leave out anything. I know it will take a longer time due to camera set up and editing but it will be very informative and educational. To many leave out lots of import aspects of what ever they are doing and it makes it almost useless. Lookin forward to the future build.
Super great job of repurposing the worn-out old into the useful new!!! You're a great inventor with a keen eye!!! But for us "not so Clever" can you do a detail discussion on "catch basin", pump. water solenoid use, ect!! Thanks again Paul
Hi Paul, Thank you for your kind words! th-cam.com/video/RKgAmcZ1ChM/w-d-xo.html This is a video I have done on the pumps, and has a discussion on reservoir/catch basin setup. The solenoids I use differ. I have used everything from water inlet solenoids in washing machines to much larger dedicated air control valves. I will be doing more videos as I get the time, but there are a couple of other guys doing some good vids on TH-cam. Check out Justin'd Trikes and Venom Chris if you need the info before I get around to it. Thanks for watching!
Could have been a good video if you explained it in detail, other than making holes in a cabinet I’ve no idea what you’ve done. How does the water circulate and recycle? What’s the nozzle ? How does it work? Thanks
You are a genius my friend. I try my best to recycle (or upcycle as they call it these days) with stuff I have laying around destined for scrap so I enjoyed watching a creative bugger at work. Like others have asked, I'd like to know what type of pump to use and how to set it up. Cheers from OZ Bro!
Love your video. I’m keen to build my own. What are the nozzles that you use, where do I buy them? Also need details on the pump set up needed for these units please.
Hi John, Thanks for the comment. I build these nozzles as I got sick of waiting for the ebay type, only for them to have average performance. I am low on stock, but you can find them here: www.armouryenterprises.com/collections/all If you have access to a 3d printer you can get my .stl files to print your own from here: www.armouryenterprises.com/products/3d-printable-vapor-blasting-gun-stl-files There is a bit of information on pumps here: th-cam.com/video/RKgAmcZ1ChM/w-d-xo.html Best to email me if you need more help finding a pump. josh@armouryenterprises.com Thanks for watching!
Hi Richard. Thanks for your question. I have answered it in my latest video. Essentially no, but only because I have a limited air supply and the nozzle uses a lot. I think air agitation would be totally viable. Cheers!
Awesome video!! What size compressor would be required mate? to be using this kind of thing with out stopping every 5 minutes for the compressor to catch up?
Can a tattoo pedal be used for power you done a vid with washing machine pumps can the solenoids be used off it sorry any spelling as I have just done 2 washing machine strip down and have parts there if I can use them as the rest I can build to
Hey man, I am unfamiliar with the workings of tattoo pedals. If they are momentary push switches in the correct voltage then they will work just fine. Also, if you check out the update video for this build, it shows the solenoid I used. Yes, it is the once from the dishwasher. So if the ones you have are similar, you should be good to go! Thanks for watching!
Hi Steve, Thanks for the comment. This video is quite old now. Here is the video of rainX on the same cabinet: th-cam.com/video/OHaYTOspoQI/w-d-xo.html Cheers!
Everything is uploaded in 1080p. You should be able to click the little button bottom right of the video that has a symbol that looks like a square to go full screen.

the real brainy man i ever saw in youtube congratulations buddy !!!!

Great idea. More info would be great. Did you try Rain-X on the inside of the glass, to see if that helps to keep it clear?
I have later videos that explain more, including another video that demonstrates rain-x on the glass.
Cheers!
Love this build, Well done. I'm keen to know more details.
good job mate can allways rely on a ossie from a expat brit you just saved me several hundred dollars us thanks
Thanks Fred. Kiwi here mate. No hard feelings. Us Kiwis/Ozzys/Brits are all global oddball cuzzies!
That's awesome bro
Cheers man!
Add some sort of windshield wiper!

You can check out one of my later videos about pump set ups. Will help work out what system is best for you.

Well done
Thank you!
if you put Rainex on the glass you will get a bit better visibility and the media will wash away more easily
Hi Michael,
You can see the results of the Rain-x test on this very cabinet here: th-cam.com/video/OHaYTOspoQI/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for watching!
You need to provide more info to simpletons like myself + Get yourself a tripod. Apart from that all good. :-)
the window needs... some kind of hydrophobic coating or laminate like those bike helmet stickers you can buy. this is a cool build though Nice
Hey mate,
I used Rain-x on this cabinet for a long time. I have another video that shows the difference.
Thanks for watching!
Josh
@@ArmouryEnterprises cool, I'll try yo find it on your channel 😉😉
Vax on the glass may help with water sticking to the glass
I have a later video showing the use of Rain-x. It works very well!
Wow the stainless works great to illuminate the interior .Have you tried diverting air to agitate your media ? Just a thought.

Awesome video!! What size compressor would be required mate? to be using this kind of thing with out stopping every 5 minutes for the compressor to catch up?
Hey Brandon,
Thanks mate! With this nozzle you would need to be up around the 17CFM mark for continuous operation.
looking for the cabinet.....i saw the car in the background......hmm? I want a really big cabinet and a car would be pretty big.
Please explain the operation of the pump and how to install it
I am working on an upcoming resource that explains the principles of the pumps you can use and how to set them up.
Thanks
@@ArmouryEnterprises thanx

Nice work! What size/HP is your compressor?
At this time, it was a 3hp compressor rated for 12.5cfm
@@ArmouryEnterprises Beautiful, I think that's what I'm aiming for, given compressor prices :-)
Thanks for the valuable breakdown!
Is that liquid just water?
Hi Azma,
No it is a mixture of water and glass beads
Rain x on glass to remove bedding water

É água e óxido de alumínio?
Sim. Água e óxido de alumínio.
Obrigado!
Where can I get this video so it fills up more than just 15% of my monitor? lol
Everything is uploaded in 1080p. You should be able to click the little button bottom right of the video that has a symbol that looks like a square to go full screen.
@@ArmouryEnterprises it's still going to be filmed in portrait mode brother lol
@@YouMotorcycle oh yeah. Haha I forgot about that. Its only the first part of the video.
What provided the pressure when it kicks on?
Hi,
Pressure is provided by compressed air.
Thanks for watching!
Does your machine use wind and sand as well?
Thats pretty cool. Nice work, you cheap bastard! ha
Haha thanks mate!
Yea not everyone has a pump that's able to pump the slurry back up to the nozzle. They aren't cheap around $250 to $300
This one uses the pump from the dishwasher. It was free.
why is he hiding the pump and pump model he is using. brutal.
can you make me one
Hi Paul,
Where abouts are you based?
Rain x on the window

Can’t be the worlds cheapest since you need a lathe.
You dont need a lathe. Just makes it easier.
I m нихуя night ferchtein но конструкцию понял!😂
