Hi po, ang difference nila is that any one could be a nutritionist basta may knowledge ka sa nutrition through reseaches or studies or books or seminars pero not everyone can be a dietetian since kailangan graduate ka ng 4 year course ng BSND and board passer ka... They are the same and pinaka difference lang nila is that to practice in clinical set up you have to licensed nutritionist and dietitian.. 😊😊
Hi po, ang chemistry lang naman po namin is biochemistry 😊😊 i dont know if its considered as return demo but whenever we learn new diet management we tend to apply it sa mga case study katulad ng paggawa ng individualized meal.plan at nutrition care ng patients then irereport namin yun and then sa nutrition care process we had sample nutrition counseling and nutrition education wherein we have sample patients na i eeducate namin at icocounsel... Then for the foodservice related subjects we tend to have mga meal presentation
I forgot to mention na medyo madaming computation na aaralin pero kakayanin naman di naman siya kasing dami ng formulas sa engineering or sa accountancy 😊😊

Hi. I'm an ND student din. To be able to take the licensure exam for nutrition and dietetics you need to take Hospital Dietetics, Community Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition etc, which I think is not taught in other courses. You might want to ask your department heads about that and consult din sa ND department para sure.
Hi po, foodservice such as catering services, or sa mga restaurant ng hotels, restaurants, you could have your build your own business such as pastry shop, restaurant, canteen, etc. Pwede din po as COMMUNITY NUTRITIONIST sa mga barangay center, or PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONIST, you could also work at FNRI or Food and Nutrition Research Institute, and you could also be a SPORTS NUTRITIONIST for athletes or sa mga gym 😊😊

Hi po, nung face to face pa yung class, pinabili kami ng kitchen tools for food related courses na may laboratory such as basic foods, basic nutrition, meal management, and food service... for microbiology and parasitology pinabili kami ng inoculation loop and needles... Pinabili din kami ng weighing scale, and tape measure for the nutrition assessment 😊😊 walang stethoscope na pinabili 😊
Hello po thank you for this vid. Gusto ko po kasi maging nutritionist in the future. People ask me kung anong kunin kong course tas sasabihin ko ito yung gusto kong trabaho pero wala ata silang tiwala sakin haha I know I shouldn't believe in others opinions pero mismo pamilya ko nga wala ring tiwala. Nakakatawa lang isipin eh makikita ko talaga sa reaction nila na tinatawanan lng ako I bet iniisip nila "ah di to nya kaya". Pero sila yung taong lagi akong pinagsasabihan mag aral ng mabuti,magtapos ako etc. One time sinabihan ako ng tita ko "baka mag call center agent ka lang ha" it made me think mismong anak nya hindi nga nagamit yung pagiging nurse sayang lang sa tuition anyway I'll find a way para makapag aral ako nito sa college i'll pursue this career ang dami ko pa kasing plano kapag maging isang RDN na talaga ako. Sorry kung dito ako nag rant wala lang talaga akong makausap ngayon. Thank you ulit nakakatulong po talaga yung mga advice nyo. Sana 6 years from now(year 2025) ang balita ko isang nutritionist na ako hehe.

Hi po, madami po pwede maging job yung mga nagtake ng BSND at nag BOARDS such as academe mag turo, pwede din sa foodservice magtatrabahi ka sa mga restaurants, anything na nagmamanage ng food production, pwede din sa hospital setting as clinical dietetian or pwede ka din maging fitness coach or maging nutritionist and dietetian ng mga athletes or pwede ka din mag tayo ng sarili mong business like catering or mga pastry shop or restaurant or pwede ka mag karoon ng sarili mong clients na gusto mag paconsult and pwede ka din pumasok sa government as public health nutritionist and madami pang iba super versatile ng BSND and hindi ka mauubusan ng JOB 😊

If in terms sa trabaho in demand siya sa sports, clinical/hospital, foodservice (such as hotels, restaurants, cafeteria, catering), community (public health) and academe, in demand ang mga RND 😊😊
Iba po yung chemistry sa BSND hindi po siya genral chemistry na aaralin yung mga elements... To be honest hindi me nakabili nung book namin sa biochem dati nag rely lang talaga me sa book na nakikita sa library i forgot yung title ng book and yung author pero pwede naman gamitin any book sa biochem like yung harpers illustrated biochemistry cause pare parehas lang naman yung topics na ididiscuss sa topics na nasa any biochem book

For incoming freshmen ang pwede mong iadvance study is sa biochemistry: structures and functions of protein and enzymes, metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, metabolism of protein and amino acids. Sa basic foods: makakatulong yung book na the science of cooking by stuart farrimond and understanding food by amy brown. Sa anatomy and physiology naman well lahat ng system such as respiratory, circulatory, digestive, excretory, nervous, skeletal, reproductive, endocrine, cardiovasvular, integumentary, muscular, lymphatic, and urinary system. 😊📚 Sa computation kasi sa mismong pag pasok mo pa siya matututunan since mahirap i advance study yun ng hindi dinidiscuss ng prof 😊 Hope this helps 😊

As in wala akon idea dito sa course na to.... tanong ko lang po, ano-ano pong subject sa BSND ang mahihirap?may math po ba yung BSND?kasee mahina ako sa math T^T. Tska hingi naman po ng advice jan. Tbh 2nd choice ko tong BSND, yung 1st choice ko is pharma... sadly cant afford mag enroll sa private university dito sa place namin... so i will take na lang BSND since may interest din naman ako sa pag take ng BSND kaya nga lang konti konti knowledge ko about BSND. Hi po, wala namang masyadong rules sa course na to 😊😊 kailangan lang mag follow sa rules ng mismong university yun lang like bawal yung matingkad na hair color kapag sa school, and of course cheating is not allowed mga ganun... Sa school supplies i usually buy one big notebook like A4 yung size then yun yung notebook ko sa lahat ng subjects of course may partition yun .. bibili lang ako ng seperate notebook kapag needed sa isang subject ng seperate notebook... HIGHLIGHTERS useful siya kapag nag rereview 😊.. yan lang naman ang school supplies na needed 😊😊

If you are fortunate you get match and may relocate. Yung iba they wait 1 to 5 years to get internship. Kailangan successfully completed internship before mag board exam. Pero in the year 2024, 7 years na sya. Need MS and then Internship. Meron naman combine, mas expensive and comprehensive. So this 2020, lahat ng dietetic students must have MS before they become RDN.

Since ang focus din ng nutrition and dietetics is preventive health like how to prevent obesity, diabetes, CVD, and many more, kaya may maganda siyang foundation for med school if ever magpapatuloy sa med. In nutrition and dietetics din po magkakabackground knowledge ka sa mga courses sa med such as BIOCHEMISTRY, ANAPHYSIO, MICROBIOLOGY, PARASITOLOGY, and NUTRITION 😊😊

Hi po, ang difference nila is that any one could be a nutritionist basta may knowledge ka sa nutrition through reseaches or studies or books or seminars pero not everyone can be a dietetian since kailangan graduate ka ng 4 year course ng BSND and board passer ka... They are the same and pinaka difference lang nila is that to practice in clinical set up you have to licensed nutritionist and dietitian.. 😊😊

Hi po, ang chemistry lang naman po namin is biochemistry 😊😊 i dont know if its considered as return demo but whenever we learn new diet management we tend to apply it sa mga case study katulad ng paggawa ng individualized meal.plan at nutrition care ng patients then irereport namin yun and then sa nutrition care process we had sample nutrition counseling and nutrition education wherein we have sample patients na i eeducate namin at icocounsel... Then for the foodservice related subjects we tend to have mga meal presentation

Hi. I'm an ND student din. To be able to take the licensure exam for nutrition and dietetics you need to take Hospital Dietetics, Community Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition etc, which I think is not taught in other courses. You might want to ask your department heads about that and consult din sa ND department para sure.

Hi po, foodservice such as catering services, or sa mga restaurant ng hotels, restaurants, you could have your build your own business such as pastry shop, restaurant, canteen, etc. Pwede din po as COMMUNITY NUTRITIONIST sa mga barangay center, or PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONIST, you could also work at FNRI or Food and Nutrition Research Institute, and you could also be a SPORTS NUTRITIONIST for athletes or sa mga gym 😊😊

Hi po, nung face to face pa yung class, pinabili kami ng kitchen tools for food related courses na may laboratory such as basic foods, basic nutrition, meal management, and food service... for microbiology and parasitology pinabili kami ng inoculation loop and needles... Pinabili din kami ng weighing scale, and tape measure for the nutrition assessment 😊😊 walang stethoscope na pinabili 😊

Hello po thank you for this vid. Gusto ko po kasi maging nutritionist in the future. People ask me kung anong kunin kong course tas sasabihin ko ito yung gusto kong trabaho pero wala ata silang tiwala sakin haha I know I shouldn't believe in others opinions pero mismo pamilya ko nga wala ring tiwala. Nakakatawa lang isipin eh makikita ko talaga sa reaction nila na tinatawanan lng ako I bet iniisip nila "ah di to nya kaya". Pero sila yung taong lagi akong pinagsasabihan mag aral ng mabuti,magtapos ako etc. One time sinabihan ako ng tita ko "baka mag call center agent ka lang ha" it made me think mismong anak nya hindi nga nagamit yung pagiging nurse sayang lang sa tuition anyway I'll find a way para makapag aral ako nito sa college i'll pursue this career ang dami ko pa kasing plano kapag maging isang RDN na talaga ako. Sorry kung dito ako nag rant wala lang talaga akong makausap ngayon. Thank you ulit nakakatulong po talaga yung mga advice nyo. Sana 6 years from now(year 2025) ang balita ko isang nutritionist na ako hehe.

Sa basic foods: makakatulong yung book na the science of cooking by stuart farrimond and understanding food by amy brown. Sa anatomy and physiology naman well lahat ng system such as respiratory, circulatory, digestive, excretory, nervous, skeletal, reproductive, endocrine, cardiovasvular, integumentary, muscular, lymphatic, and urinary system. 😊📚

Hi po, both po 50-50 ganun hehehea pero yung math sa BSND di siya kasing lala ng mga math sa engineering sa accounting ... Basic math lang like divide add multiple subtract ganun lang siya 😊😊 may mga minors na math sa BSND such as math in contemporary world, basic accounting, and biostatistics.. yung mga Nutrition and Dietetics na computations maeencounter siya sa Basic nutrition, assessment of nutritional status, food service system, nutrition care process, and sa medical nutrition therapy😊😊

Hello!new subscriber here^-^ nag hanap po talaga ako dito sa YT ng about sa kurso ng BSND kase ito pong course na to ang kukunin ko.... incoming 1st yr college na ako.-. Cants believe huhuhu batch online class akooo T^T. Kaka graduate ko lang nung May 30. As in wala akon idea dito sa course na to.... tanong ko lang po, ano-ano pong subject sa BSND ang mahihirap?may math po ba yung BSND?kasee mahina ako sa math T^T. Tska hingi naman po ng advice jan. Tbh 2nd choice ko tong BSND, yung 1st choice ko is pharma... sadly cant afford mag enroll sa private university dito sa place namin... so i will take na lang BSND since may interest din naman ako sa pag take ng BSND kaya nga lang konti konti knowledge ko about BSND.

Hi po, to answer all your question halos lahat po ng major subjects mahirap po and yes may math po sa BSND pero mahina din ako sa math kaya everytime we have computation minemake sure ko na paulit ulit kong ginagawa yung compu... kaya kapag nakaencounter ka na ng compu maadvice ko sayo is Practice lang ng practice hanggang sa masanay ka na lang kakacompute 😊

Hi po, wala namang masyadong rules sa course na to 😊😊 kailangan lang mag follow sa rules ng mismong university yun lang like bawal yung matingkad na hair color kapag sa school, and of course cheating is not allowed mga ganun... Sa school supplies i usually buy one big notebook like A4 yung size then yun yung notebook ko sa lahat ng subjects of course may partition yun .. bibili lang ako ng seperate notebook kapag needed sa isang subject ng seperate notebook... HIGHLIGHTERS useful siya kapag nag rereview 😊.. yan lang naman ang school supplies na needed 😊😊

Hi po, pwede ka pong nutritionist and dietitian sa clinical setting po like hospitals, pwede din po sports nutritionist for athletes, nutritionist and dietitian sa foodservice setting such as hotels, restaurants, research nutritionist and dietitian sa laboratories, manufacturing firms, government research institute, entrepreneurial nutritionist and dietitian wherein you have your own foodservice establishment or your own nutrition and wellness clinics, pwede din po sa academe training future rnds
tagal ko na nag ssearch ng dietetics course sa Philippines. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist based in America. I wanted to see the difference of our profession based on different country. I enjoyed this. I also did not know how to cook and hangang ngayon nagaaral pa ako mag luto ahaha.

@@gerrygeneroso7461 5 years sa US. 4 years BS and one year internship (but this is on matching application, kailanagan mataas grade mo, you apply for Internship, get interviewed and you will get match 50% chance. If you are fortunate you get match and may relocate. Yung iba they wait 1 to 5 years to get internship. Kailangan successfully completed internship before mag board exam.
Pero in the year 2024, 7 years na sya. Need MS and then Internship. Meron naman combine, mas expensive and comprehensive. So this 2020, lahat ng dietetic students must have MS before they become RDN.

Hi po, in my opinion po i think nutrition and dietetics is also designed para ma meet yung requirements for professional health programs such as being a physician or doctor. Since ang focus din ng nutrition and dietetics is preventive health like how to prevent obesity, diabetes, CVD, and many more, kaya may maganda siyang foundation for med school if ever magpapatuloy sa med. In nutrition and dietetics din po magkakabackground knowledge ka sa mga courses sa med such as BIOCHEMISTRY, ANAPHYSIO, MICROBIOLOGY, PARASITOLOGY, and NUTRITION 😊😊
