Hey lovely people, this is just a lifestyle video where I’m trying to show a few things about my design process. I’m not an instructor.
    This is not a tutorial.
Please don't get offended by this video.🥲

I dont know why this guy is getting some harsh comments. His videos are literally one of the best vids I've came across in TH-cam! And this isn't a tutorial anyways, I think the main purpose of this vid is just to share his own way or process of redesigning. Overall, I love the results! And you seem like a really good vlogger.

People comenting on hate here are looking at this in the wrong angle, guys, this video is more oriented for people like me who don't know shit about UI & UX design and want to see what it is like a day in the life of an UI & UX designer, to have a better understanding on what they really do for a living and understand it better. This is not a tutorial by any means.

Hey Vishnu, cool that you post stuff like that, sure its helpfull for new designers. I wanted to provide some constructive critique:
one of the most important elements on real estate pages are the cards, those convince users to click further to a product detail page, thats the journey goal for seekers. For that reason Images on the cards should be displayed at least half of the card. Best luck and keep on the journey

Love the concept, it's rare to find people talking about the process and I know it is an exhausting task with the extra work of recording and editing but would love to see more of that design process. Great work! keep the hard work and you'll do great on youtube

This video is a nice walktrough on the process of redesign. It would have been interesting to know how long you spent on each step of the process. Unfortunately you didn't explain how your design choices would have helped over the one of the original site that, for the least I could see, weren't that bad. I've designed a website for a small real estate once. The biggest challenges I found were: 1) how to organize the priority of the information shown on the page of a single property, with the gallery of pics being a very important aspect of the page and also the use of icons to summarize the key features of the property; 2) how to balance the size of the grid with the list of the properties and how to make the loading fast enough to not bother the user and provide him/her with the maximum number of cards possible; 3) a key feature I couldn't realize at the time, due to platform restrictions I had, was the possibility to add a sidebar to help filter the listing by features. Managing the description and titles inside of the cards was also very tricky.

Well, First of all great job Vishnu I loved your video and your approach but I do have one question or a take why did you assume that the current state of the app or the website what ever you want to call it is causing poor engagement, because based on my experience you can't tell without actual data. and sometimes you get the highest engagement rate from the poorest design.

Can you please tell me why did you create the moodboard after the mid-wireframe? Isn't it better to create a moodboard before sketching paper wireframe? So you will a get an idea about the layout of the design and can improve the layout. I think it is better to create a moodboard before jumping into wireframing.
