Your videos are a blessing! I'm studying behavioral neuroscience and it's extremely difficult trying to make sense of it all with only a textbook. Your videos really help to give a more complete picture of what's going on. Thank you a thousand times, please keep making these excellent vids!

Excellent breath sounds to demonstrate the role of the chatelier's principle, carbonic anhydrase and blowing off CO2 in the chemoreceptor reflex. Well done Sam the physiologist.

These reflexes are so interesting. So much on autopilot in the body.

Just started the neuro block in school so this video was perfect timing, thanks Sam for elaborating on the these reflexes during my dinner break. Hope the Baldur's Gate 3 run is going well too!

    Sir, I have a question...
"All reflex actions are involuntary in nature but all involuntary actions are not reflexes". Is it correct?
When does an 'involuntary' action become a 'reflex' action?
Hope you mention it in your upcoming videos as well!!

Brainstem : "Ph and CO2 within acceptable range. Everything a-okay.". Cerebrum : "Feeling a bit tired here. Better lay down for a moment.". *dies of carbon monoxide poisoning* Post-mortem Cerebrum : "I need a more modern alarm system...".
