Hi! My name is Ashleigh and I love makeup! Today unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Sugar & Grunge by Blend Bunny Cosmetics.
I have this palette and I'm so glad!! I hate that she was targeted.😠 The word "Grunge" has been part of the lexicon of pop culture since the wave of "Grunge" music hit back in the late 80s-early 90s - I remember! (that shows how old I am). So it's BS that anybody can own that word. I wish she would fight back, BUT I understand she has to choose her own battles. Wishing Blend Bunny the best - she will come out on top!! Thanks for supporting her and doing this video. You eye looks came out so pretty!😍

🤣I bought this out of spite. It was one of the few palettes I wasn’t sure about so I had never picked up. I didn’t think the way the shades were sort of desaturated dusty grunge would go well on my deeper skin tone, especially the top row. But when I saw the Instagram posting, I threw it in my cart and checked out without a second thought, it’s arrived and I really enjoy the shimmers and the last two rows of mattes. I do find though that the top row are great for mixing with the deeper shades to create more nuanced colors so no lost at all. And as a Scorpio, I revel in being spiteful😂

Good morning Ashley!! I heard the whole story on Jens channel with th eowner of Glamlite and Jen explaining the targeting of small indie brands. The owner of Glamlite stuck to her guns and pushed thru and won. It was extremely sad that the business after her wanted to own her name and went after her because she was a young hispanic female and assumed due to her ethnicity, she didn't have money to fight the lawsuit. It was awful, but she went ahead and ended up winning the case because she didn't want others to go through what she did.
Back to Blend Bunny, i wanna say i saw that she will bring it back but with a different name. And i hope she does! Its a stunning colorstory, and it's my favorite of all her palettes! Its unfortunate people think they can own a word! PM did something similar for the use of the word divine. 😡

Before her post on IG I had been researching palettes from the brand for a month to see which one I should get to try their eyeshadows. Decided on this and had the all done up palette as my second choice.Even went on Mercari and threw one in my cart but I decided I’d wait for a sale later down. Imagine my surprise and disappointment all in one when I saw her post so I ran immediately and bought one. Will definitely give these looks a try once I get mines.

I think she should just change the second part of the name. I was not able ti pick this up as I am on a no buy until June. I was interested in it though!😢

Seems strange. If the trademark issue is about the word "grunge," that shouldn't affect the existence of the palette. Just change the name of the palette. In any event, I love the looks you created! 😍

I have this palette. I got it for Black Friday. You created some beautiful looks. How do you decide what colors to pair together in an eyeshadow palette? I think your looks are always very beautiful. Your blending skills are awesome 👏
Thank you, so much! Honestly, I just go with what I like. I tend to gravitate towards purples, blues, and grays.

So I thought I’d look on Mercari do you know there’s somebody that wants $133 for the pallet somebody else wants $88 I understand capitalism but however I have no patience for greed
She shared a post about this in her story. If you don’t mind waiting for when she brings it back I wouldn’t because that’s just awful people are trying to capitalize like that.
