In all honesty, Torres really did well for a team, that was not really that great in comparison to Manchester (and Arsenal and Chelsea) at the time. Liverpool were a bit of an upper mid tier team at the time. And he did well to perform at the level he did in that context.
Unfortunately he then signed for Chelsea, who did not play the kind of game that was suited to him.
