When I accidentally stepped on or near it, it was coiled up, rattling and did not look happy. It looked up at me, I looked down at it, danced a quick jig and scatted one way and it went another! A mutual surrender, so to speak. SO much FUN!! 😉👣😎

Silver wood lake is so massive. I drive there from big bear from rim of the world drive snd it seemed like I was driving forever. Let alone hoofing it. Good job getting there from deep creek.
Thanks for taking such great footage around deep creek! People are usually in such a hurry to get to the hot springs. there that they’re not they don’t stop and take much footage and show us the trail in the rocks and the scenery . that was awesome!

I am so glad to hear that there was a ranger out there. There are a lot of not so nice people who go out and write on the rocks and cause mayhem at the hot springs. Also, there is a nice stream running 1/2 way between the 73 and silverwood lake. OH, I see that you crossed it. I live close by this area and, therefore, hike out there a lot....alone. I love the solitude and the challenge and the peace and beauty. Thanks for taking us along. great video, as always. Wish I could get out to enjoy deep creek...but, alas, my knees will not permit it.

Wow, I bet you ruined the ego of the Rattler. There he was being all masterful on the Trail and up comes Manny dancing all over him. Poor guy 🙄😂. Those views are epic. Like others have said, you seem to capture shots that others miss. Honest they were all clothed at the hot springs 🙄🤔. Last year a lady hiking the Trail was disgusted at naked people there. What happens on the Trail, stays on the Trail. But at my age my two veg would be on the floor of the 'jacuzzi'. Great vlog Manny, loving it. Thank you.

That was a long hike to Silverwood. Nice to have Trail Magic at the end of it. Last year we could order pizza delivered there but I guess the restaurant isn't doing it this year.

That snow peak is actually Mount San Antonio. Mt. Baldy is the little town on the other side of it.
Manny really enjoying your videos. I started in the PCT in mid April and tore my meniscus in my right knee on day 5. Having surgery on May 5 and plan to be back on trail by third week of June. Probably will hop on around South Lake Tahoe. Hope to bump into you some day.
