I HIGHLY recommend listening to The Ides of March next from Myles Kennedy's new Solo Album by the same title!

This is the opening song on the album AB III, probably their darkest album lyrically, hence the "special" intro. And the vocalist's name is indeed Myles Kennedy :) As someone already said, Tremonti has a new song out (two actually), If Not For You and Marching In Time (title track). I know you don't take requests but I'm giving you a hint in case change your mind a little bit, if you know what I mean :)
Yeah it's Myles Kennedy and he's a vocal wizard. Interesting that you should say you can't see any other vocalist with them, because they started out as Creed, when Scott quit, Myles joined and they became Alterbridge (and a much better band). Mark Tremonti certainly can play more complicated material, but as you said, he did what fit the song. Great reaction!
Like i get what you mean, but you do know creed still exists too right? They're 2 different bands. With 3/4 members being the same but that makes a huge difference in this case.
The song that you tried to remember was cry of Achilles. Great review, the third album AB3 is their darkest album, lyrics focusing on belief, religion, death. Try ghost of days gone by, not the best song but a different one. Rock on 🤘🏼

Mark Tremonti harmonizes with Myles. He’s an incredible vocalist as well as one of the greatest guitarists ever. He’s the lead singer for his band Tremonti. They’re a lot heavier than AB and Creed. Very very good. You need need need to check out Waters Rising, Mark sings leads in that one and Myles does back up vocals.
I personally think Mark sounds best when he's singing with AB. I like Tremonti (the band), but AB is really the whole is greater than the parts. AB is like the middle between Mark and Myles and it's such a sweet spot.

Amazing band!! Myles one of the greatest vocalist in modern rock era, great review, plz make about "Burn It Down" another Alter bridge's special song, it was featured on the band's first album "One Day Remains"
Their songs are so good with meaning,they tell cool little stories.
One of my favorite bands.
Popularity in Europe is much greater than in US. Record all their live DVDs there. I don't understand why they haven't received that attention in the states.

It was my suggestion "Cry of Achilles" that you enjoyed so much.
They usually play Slip to the Void at start of their live shows, which fits perfectly.
They version from the Albert Hall with the Orchestra is astounding, proper hairs on end stuff. Not been released separately but a definite recommend to purchase for anyone on Blu-Ray!
The whole entire Royal Albert Hall album is incredible! It's my go-to over all the studio albums

You should do live versions when you can when it comes to Alter Bridge.

Of them, you gotta react to Words Darker than their Wings (livek. Not just because of the UNBELIEVABLE high note Myles, but because the dynamic of the song. And so BLACKBIRD!!!!. And I can suggest the same about Avenged Sevenfold’s BURIED ALIVE, Natural Born Killer and Sidewinder
