Same. When you're my age and with all I have to do, me time is wearing trackpants and reading or watching videos. I was well prepared for C-19. I've been on the internet shopping trackpants train since my mid-30s. Going out is overrated...and expensive!
(It may also involve eating an entire box of chicken chippies. I've got a me 2 days on my own and I'm doing no study or work and I turn into a male bachelor for some reason. Trackpants, leaving my cup in annoying places and eating lazy man food that involves a microwave or if I'm super motivated, frozen into oven).
The book store was my favorite part! I could get lost in one for an entire day. Kristen Hannah is one of my all time favorite authors. I have read every single book and can't wait for her next!

There are days that I literally don’t think I’m going to survive 😳! I took a day yesterday and went thrift store shopping and took myself to lunch….yes mam, these days are definitely needed!! Legitimately had a me day earlier today! Got the kids off to school, and then slept in for a few hours. Got a spray tan, and then went to TJ Maxx and Target! It was glorious!
I also have an obsession with makeup bags/totes!! I actually bought 3 of them in 2 days looking for the right one. One from Marshalls, 2 from Amazon! LOL. Still not sure I have the right one. I also have several others! Heading to Cancun in a couple of weeks - not sure if I need any travel sized goodies, but that won't stop me from looking! I am 71 years old, but I love watching you and your family -- I can't tell you how many things I have bought after watching you use them! Such fun!! Thank you so much for sharing all you do!
I worked From home so when I'm off there is ALWAYS someone here. I'm alone while working but that isn't the same so once in awhile I take a weekday off so I can have the free time here! One day when I was off my husband wanted to come home sick but waited because he didn't want to interfere with my free time! Thats love. I totally understand what you are saying.
