"Dior Sauvage is so boring and generic, smells like all the ex boyfriends, blah blah blah...". Well, it's the most popular fragrance for a reason. I also think EDP is better and not that common. Beating the mass pleasing YSL Y EDP is a show of superiority. But personally I choose and use Y EDP. Sauvage is sexier thus it had a clear lead of 5-7 votes more. Nevertheless, I don't really want to project sexiness. Sweet apple is just fine when I go to the office or for a coffee with my friends.

it is a best seller for a reason , but that reason isnt because of its scent vs others , its the power of strong marketing. sauvage has by FAR the best marketing of any cologne on the market. its not even close.

Imo, Y edp does not smell near as good on paper as it does in the air. Its strong suit is its projection and sillage, and its still one of my most complimented fragrances out of the 100 or so I own, Sauvage included.
Both have amazing sillages but i agree Y has a bigger difference between on paper and sillage. Dior just smells good anywhere it is sprayed
Also when most people smell sauvage on you they wont care much for it cause they smell it everywhere
I dont like y edp on paper its not smell good like on skin that is real.

Dior Sauvage is a 'blue' fragance, that in the essence means citrus spicy fragance with lot of ambroxan. The secret of 'sexines' here is the mix of the accords that create masculine shower gel scent which women relate to 'what comes after the shower'. This was first done by Chanel, I think this is a fine example of the superior marketing and behavior analysis that made a lot of money to these few companies.

I have both sauvage edp and y edp, also saivage edt, but after long time of wearing y edp is my favorite. Sauvage is more masculine but more agresive smell. I like your review videos.

sauvage parfum is the best sauvage by far , should really be battling that one . sauvage edt and edp lack naturals hence the overly synthetic smell , parfum adds naturals into the mix in fruity and floral notes that really elevate it to a league beyond bleu de chanel and ysl Y

@@blenderyt6564 son youve got alot more to learn if a reaction video influences you to think something is the best instead of its quality. ive said it in my comment, sauavage edt and edp lack naturals. the parfum is far more sophisticated not just in overall vibe but the sophistication of the perfumers abilities are much higher here with parfum , on an equal playing field with the sophistication complexity and quality of bleu de chanel parfum. the edt and edp are not at all. edt and edp in my eyes is for highschoolers and teenagers which are gonna be the people most influenced by a youtube and tik tok

@@sherkhanftw7579 IMO elixir should have never been included in the sauvage line its completely different. that might be the list of whats most popular to least popular but its not the list of which is actually blended the best. sauavage edp and edt just lack naturals for me , where the parfum actually utilizes them in a rich way and drops alot of sythetic and scratchy ingredients that makes sauavage harsh in the first place. if you have a nose to all 3 im hard pressed to think any real fragrance connoisseur would call parfum the worst. its literally just sauavage with even more additional natural ingredients so how can it even be worse than the previous two? doesnt make sense

Can't stand Sauvage . Can't believe it's so popular. Y is much better. At end o the day you have to wear it yourself to smell, so don't care too much if women like one over the other more. Women still like Y.
you can't stand sauvage because you associate it with someone or something you don't like. No matter how many people use it, it is still a good fragrance by itself
@@rafidarramdhanr3487 I smelt it a few different times just to make sure, at a Department store. So bad each time. Elixir version even worse. Thought Prada Carbon which is like Sauvage would be better. Nope still so bad.

It doesn´t matter if you think Y is better...Surender to the fact that the female nose love masculine fragrances, fresh, clean, spicy. Is it so hard to understand that females don´t like sweet fruity things that smell like a woman. I have seen Y win against Sauvage edt. Ask people in Europe and you might get other result. Ask people in the middle east and they have other taste. Ask people in early spring, fall and they might say YSL-Y Over Sauvage. Make a street test tomorrow and you might get another result.
