A way in which this is different from j&a is that, because Geoff is their intern, they can immediately tell when he's not doing his job, as they decide what his job is. Whereas in j&a Jake never really knew what Amir's job was, so there was a different kind of frustration there.
Yeah good call. and its also now two straight men + one funny man, which is dope I feel like because Geoffrey's funny man gets to be more of an incoherent 'village idiot' as it might be on The Office or Family Guy; similar tone since they're still the writers but nevertheless subtly different to Amir's old character.
We did know what his job was. He and Jake were writers for College Humor, just like in real life. There even were many videos on which they were at the writers table, or auditioning for sketches they wrote, same for the finale.
Sam S You guys keep going on about them being jacked. They aint got nothin on the most attractive audio engineer, nay, MAN in the world... Sean, the audio engineer!
Off days are better because they remind me of jake and amir. These are fine but it just seems like they swapped amir's college humor persona with Geoffrey. Which is fine, I actually like the guy a lot. But there is no substitute for the original thing.
This vids awesome! I love it when Jeff's lines aren't as developed as Jake and Amirs. That creates a better contrast between the characters, really developing Jeff as his own character rather than making him a reflection of Jake/Amir. I say, keep Jeff's lines short and not overly developed in its grammatical content, so he doesn't just turn into another Amir, who is dumb but has an extensive vocab. But idk maybe that's what u guys are going for. Love your vids either way! U guys r awesome dude 😜
I just rewatched this and im pretty sure he stopped recording before he left and when he came back he pressed the button again and that's when they actually started recording.... Brilliant
I like to think that Geoffrey the dumbass and off days take place in separate alternate universes, so it makes sense why some characters act insane in one show but normal in the other. I’ve always thought the same way about Jake and Amir and hardly working as well.
This is their first legitimately funny skit so far on HeadGum. The writing was so much better, and Geoffrey didn't have too many lines thank god. I can't wait to see how this evolves and I know Jake and Amir will do great. Much love to you guys, also thank you so much for taking out the "you're a dumbass" ending.
NGL geoffreys character here is ripping off Jon Gabrus's character, Gino Lombardi, from Comedy Bang Bang the podcast. I like it it's just dangerously similar.
What can I say, I went dickless for Chiklis. Although on a serious note, it's targeted for the idiots that read the top line and get triggered without pressing read more.
I listen to CBB and you're not right. This is a much more hostile interaction, and also geoff doesn't understand what he's doing. Gino knows, but just wont shut up. It's like saying Titanic and Jaws are the same thing because they take place in an ocean.
In a way i do, but since both show are character driven i think it's OK to share a scenario. The characters and their interactions are the main driving force behind the show and the comedy in both situations, and therefore i think it's fine to, as long as the characters themselves are seperated, to share the theme of the gag. I do believe that most comedy overlaps like this, and i think in most instances, though certainly not all, it's OK. I see how this is a very close idea to CBB, but the running joke of Geoffry/Gino and the lack of similarity bewteen the two justifies this in my oppinion. I definately see what you mean tho
The way Jake's voice breaks when he says "I'm your fuckin' boss man." is amazing. Such great acting!
Gold
The fact that there was a frailty to his voice adds to it so much
Like an audiobook
The amount of times they cracked up is absolutely unreal.
That was a take... A take where they cracked
It's crazy to me that it's mostly amir these days. Jake used to be the one who cracked up like crazy
1:00 Really felt Jake's frustration when he mocked Goeff's perplexed look lmaoo
I fucking lost it when Geoffrey responded "it's never been"
What's my tone of voice right now?!
...
Frail.
Lmao I love the "UHHHH" that Jake does to Goffrey every time he looks at him like that.
2:48 Amir smiling behind the mic I love seeing them almost crack shows they're into it
I love Geoffrey on If I Were You please have him as a guest often. He really blends in with both the podfathers.
2:45 I guess this is their best take, and Amir is still smiling. That's awesome, dude.
"Im your fucking boss man"
Took a page out of Sams book there didnt you Jake.
ortomy It's one of the 8 finale episodes dude.
A way in which this is different from j&a is that, because Geoff is their intern, they can immediately tell when he's not doing his job, as they decide what his job is. Whereas in j&a Jake never really knew what Amir's job was, so there was a different kind of frustration there.

I think Geoffrey writes these episodes
yeah dude, I remembered after posting the comment haha. they talked about it on the podcast eh
We did know what his job was. He and Jake were writers for College Humor, just like in real life. There even were many videos on which they were at the writers table, or auditioning for sketches they wrote, same for the finale.
Gabriel Bassani actually, and correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe it’s more of a Benihana situation. Or maybe; dare I say, a papadeauxs
Definitely one of my favourite eps. It's just so real.
Holy shit Amir's jacked
What an absolute adonis
Justin Huchet He's got nothing on Super-Producer Nick Rad though.
Sam S You guys keep going on about them being jacked. They aint got nothin on the most attractive audio engineer, nay, MAN in the world... Sean, the audio engineer!
Yeah I noticed that, it's really weirding me out. I'm used to him being a skinny little noodle man.
How the fuck is he jacked?
Finally. These are better than off days. I would however like to see each of them bi-weekly as to not let them get stale.
Off days are better because they remind me of jake and amir. These are fine but it just seems like they swapped amir's college humor persona with Geoffrey. Which is fine, I actually like the guy a lot. But there is no substitute for the original thing.
Amir just embracing the laughter now
This is probably my favourite Geoffrey sketch so far! Keep it up you guys!
Nearly 8 years later and this is Geoff's reality as producer. Every time he forgets to record video for the Headgum podcast I think of this sketch.
amir your arms
what about them
Soham they look nice
Daniela Bonatti He's huge like Jackman
JoshLikeCrazy got to step back man
Daniela Bonatti bad right
I can't stop watching this over and over again....

Best one so far, keep it up guys! Loving these
Got to the end and realized this is the Dumbass series! Was so thrown off lol
I think this is the first one I've really liked 100%.
Jesus Christ best episode yet.
This vids awesome! I love it when Jeff's lines aren't as developed as Jake and Amirs. "It's never been."
Holy fuck when he grasped the zoom at the end I lost it
I love this dynamic that's building where Jake is so frustrated and Amir is trying to defend Geoff.
That's certainly the best Geoffrey the Dumbass episode so far, although Jants was also really good, but this just has so many great moments :D
Episode 00 of the Headgum Podcast
Haha yeah pretty much
I just rewatched this and im pretty sure he stopped recording before he left and when he came back he pressed the button again and that's when they actually started recording.... Brilliant
Amir! You lookin good! Nice to see that the working out is paying off
LMAO! By far the funniest one yet.
1:03 Amir’s hidden smile 😆
welcome to if i were you :(
The sound of him grasping the zoom. It’s never been.
My favourite episode so far?
It's never been
I like to think that Geoffrey the dumbass and off days take place in separate alternate universes, so it makes sense why some characters act insane in one show but normal in the other. I’ve always thought the same way about Jake and Amir and hardly working as well.
1:02 Amir's laugh lolol
Best one so far. That's awesome Zune.
This is awesome, dudes.
best episode yet.
amir cant hold it
Great acting in this one. 'I'm your fuckin boss!'
This is their first legitimately funny skit so far on HeadGum. The writing was so much better, and Geoffrey didn't have too many lines thank god. The kings are back
i REALLY want to see the outtakes for this one.
The acting is amazing!
I swear to God that I asked someone at work: What kind of emotions you think he -the boss- had when he threw your report? Got the same exact reaction.
These are fire keep it up!!
I want/need outtakes for dis mann
Frail. Like an audiobook.
That's awesome zoom *does the claw thing*
I press record and I faint Jake
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder in which future episode they'll strangle Geoffrey?
dare i say, best episode?
Geoffrey was great on the podcast
Love this dude
I wish he pressed the button as he left. With...just...the stupidest fucking grin on his face as he did it.
amir is trying not to laugh the whole time its hilarious
Excellent one!!
Made it extra frail for you.
the dumbass lives! caught that kid cudi reference btw jjkae
That's awesome, zoom.
Love the video always make me laugh!!!
amir was trying so hard not to laugh at 2:45
at 1:00 amir just cant hold it haha
best one yet!
This is fucked up good. Tone is frail. What's happening.
This is a bit from comedy bang bang by Jon gabrus, but I dig it
Amirs rocking clean nmds
Hahahaha they tried so hard in this video not to break into laughter
Yeah well I'm not done talking... VESTS.
press 3 guys, best part
So this is the best GtD episode yet, right?
It's back! I'm going to beef. I'm beefing.
Anyone else notice that J&A were wrong and the sound wasn't speeding when Geoffrey left?
Hardest I've laughed in a while!
oh wait what this comment? itsneverbeen
This is painfully hawkward. Like a bird.
amir with the navy nmd's
Oh fuck they should have recorded an actual podcast and did this as a skit with no explanation and been really serious about it to confuse the fans
that'll be it lmfao
what the fuck happened to jake at 1:02
amir has tiny knees
Zoom got pulled over for speeding. #Badjoke
Amir tries so hard not to laugh lol
what is 'speeding' doe?
Recording
It was a take I'm sure
I have literally never heard of "recording" being called "speeding" in my life.
It's funny, because they clearly didn't need him there for recording the podcast. They knew what he was doing better than him.
NGL geoffreys character here is ripping off Jon Gabrus's character, Gino Lombardi, from Comedy Bang Bang the podcast. I like it it's just dangerously similar.
For the first 10 seconds. It's not that original of a concept anyway.
You guys usually flub the endings but that shit was perf.
Oy this stressed me out
is amir less funny with muscles?
3rd comment
Noooooo I love you guys but this is too similar to Jon Gabrus's Gino Lombardo character on Comedy Bang Bang ...
I love this series because it enforces themes of white supremacy.
Just kidding. Thought I'd try and piss some people off today for kicks.
What can I say, I went dickless for Chiklis.
Although on a serious note, it's targeted for the idiots that read the top line and get triggered without pressing read more.
I love these hasbeens and am enjoying their fall from grace 👍
...has beens? When were they ever celebrities?
Andrew Bombast Translation: I'm a daddy Trump supporter still ass-sore from their video against him.
comedy bang bang much?
Andres Mandujano more like original college humor
Cason Richter. you don't listen to comedy bang bang do you? listen to any jon gabrus episode and then reply...
I listen to CBB and you're not right. This is a much more hostile interaction, and also geoff doesn't understand what he's doing. Gino knows, but just wont shut up. It's like saying Titanic and Jaws are the same thing because they take place in an ocean.
hejmine concept-wise a little too similar not to make the connection, how can you disagree with that
In a way i do, but since both show are character driven i think it's OK to share a scenario. The characters and their interactions are the main driving force behind the show and the comedy in both situations, and therefore i think it's fine to, as long as the characters themselves are seperated, to share the theme of the gag. I definately see what you mean tho
