Did a live there on wall last week day session hightide 2.30pm result for me was 3 thornbacks 6lb, 7lb and a 2-3lb and a 4lb hound going there again tonight be live from about 5pm high tide 8.30.You had a good session. Good footage of rescue.
Yes strange the coast guard incident ......... The sea always throws up unusual stuff ...... But blanking and dogfish not that unusual 😂 ...... Nice little session ..... Getting better all the time.................................................. C'mon them big smoothies .,....
NIce one! My local spot, would have been nice if you filmed the surroundings and some shots looking at the back of the beach towards the reserve, and show the spit as the tide falls.
Pretty sure Steve's in an unofficial record as he wouldnt kill the fish to get it verified , I was fishing with him a few nights before he got that monster
@@zippylee3228 thats fair enough like I said I know there were question marks over it because he let it go after photo'ing and weighing it , fished with him a few times many years ago but fell out of the hobby

As a teenager I used to use a baited drop net off Portsmouth pier and catch hermits and whelks, free bait.

No the UK record was caught at chi harbour Hayling island by stevie Cullen.
