The plastic burger press actually just forms raw burgers. The cast-iron presses allow you to get a good sear on a grill or pan. They perform totally different functions.
@@kathyratino962 agreed. Not single use, but $1.25 plastic is probably one bbq season of use, if not less and then it’s off to the landfill. I’m going to go and grab one to see how much plastic residue will be on the edges of the $1.25 units.
@@leesutton I have had my plastic burger press that I use to make lentil burgers for at least six years! I think it was a Dollar General purchase, but it looks similar. I do have an iron press which I love cooking different things with, too!

I LOVE the the "Wall Tap Lights" better than the ones you mentioned. It works more like a rocker motion to put it on than having to push it. Much easier to put on I think. Arlene
Another use for the hamburger press. I have a Dash Mini Griddle.... I use part of that burger press make bread, cheese, meat, etc to fit perfectly. Hope this makes sense. 😂

Thank you for the tips. Some I was aware of but others I never knew about. We have 3 cutting boards, 1 small one that I use only for fruits and 2 medium ones, one for cutting meats and the other for vegetables.
With all the online shopping I do, I never buy packing supplies to mail. Many thin large envelopes come with a pull tag on them with instructions to reuse the same envelope to return items. Also, all the padded envelopes you get from Amazon, Walmart, etc. can be used again. Just tear of the address label or cover over them with your own label. Boxes come with brown paper and plastic air bags to cushion items you need to send.
Teta always told me to go to the dollar tree for steel wool scrub pads when I couldn’t find them anywhere! I miss her ♥️ she was always looking out for me. My mom loves the dollar tree too 😆 we were just there for a flower vase and gift bag shopping! Thanks for reminding me if these sweet memories.
I enjoy these round-ups of items. I agree on the hamburger press..I have a tupperware one I inherited from my Mom and they work great. ( I also appreciate the seasonal glasses, and although you don't decorate for every holiday, sometimes you mentioned you like to put a little something special out sometimes. I can't tell you how often I hear people have completely axed all seasonal decoration (to each his/her own), and I get that people can go overboard, but hearing you say that let's me know there is a middle ground for many of us to still seize a bit of the specialness that is seasonal change. How I make burgers… two sheets of parchment. One sheet on counter. Portion out meat rounds on parchment. Place second sheet overtop of meat. Use largest diameter cans and stamp each round of meat. Perfect burgers every time. No mess. 🤷♀️

Kallie I got those same slides in gray & black. They are comfortable & great for running errands, etc. DT is great with the economy the way it is. Bread & some frozen items too
I don't know if you've seen them yet in the kitchenware department, but they have mini square parchment packs with 100 pieces of parchment paper to separate your hamburgers when you freeze them. We also use those to make Smash Burgers on the griddle.

We spend more on the same things elsewhere because dollar tree items are cheap for a reason. They are very very toxic. A little research and you would not be fooled into buying products that are not good for you.
Excited to see the jumbo tweezers!! I work with children who sometimes need to develop fine motor skills more. I'll be buying those this week if they have them at the store I go to!
I'm interested in trying out the shoe eraser after cleaning up a pair of Vans via using a magic eraser and having it just fall apart all over the place. I didn't see that in the video. Are these made, somehow, to not do that? I went through two erasers to clean up these really not terribly dirty Vans. On top of the work (I didn't mind) it was a huge mess. So I'll grab some of those and try it.
The Dollar Tree has a batter light that has a switch, I have them all over our house, we have several power outages every year and I have them in our bathrooms,the nook under our stairs that has not lights , in our RV bathroom as the light switch is in the dealing for some reason 🤔. They are great .
I love the basket labels recently bought some! Walmart sells a 4 pack bought them on clearance the other day for $1.50 Walmart also had clear ones for the same price

I really wish there were more Dollar Trees in Canada, there are a few but not easy to get to… we have Dollarama’s here (they are everywhere!) and their prices are much higher. Things cost anywhere from 50 cents to $4!

Love these! Except the door knob covers from there. My son took them off and brought them to me 5 minutes after I put them on when he was 1.5. They are too easy to take off.

The basket labels are amazing. I just use a dry eraser on them since I know I will be moving them often.
