this song makes me cry a lot, but in a good way that I’ve been needing to do.
Lyrically and instrumentally this takes me on an emotional adventure
No jarring moments, it finds a way to grow and contrast while being pleasant the entire time and occasionally builds to a wall of sound. Lovely song

If this song had come out during the early 90’s club scene this group would be a household name. This song is an absolute anthem.
Best TR/ST song
I have been a fan of electronic music such as Depeche Mode/New Order among many others since the early 1980's and a few years back a friend had me check out a song from a band called TR/ST. The song "Icabod" form the album Joyland had me hooked instantly! Soon after buying the album I discovered the prequel album TRST and tore into that one as well and the rest is history! TR/ST IMO is the best new electronic sound in the last 20 years! I still haven't had the pleasure of seeing them live and hoping to soon! Maybe Robert Alfons can play a show back in our hometown of Winnpeg!
They reminded me of Depeche Mode too. That 80s synth sound. I just discovered them...I know! Where have I been these past decades? Never too late.
TR/ST is solid live, def see them if you get the chance. I saw them in Minneapolis at 7th St Entry which is a small(250 capacity)venue connected to 1st Avenue and it was a great atmosphere. If they come back to Minneapolis that might be the closest they'll get to Winnipeg but would be well worth the trip. Especially if they play at 7th St Entry again, it's one of my favorite venues in the country b/c its so small and intimate, which allows you to interact/meet the band without being mobbed.

I would have a problem choosing either TR/ST or Electrospectre as the best new electronic sound. "Iris" (TR/ST) and "Where two hearts meet" (Electrospectre) rival each other on a superb level.

I have never before seen a musician, that combines artistic visions that of a painter, and uses music to bring such painting to life, and tell a story through it, until I saw this.
