Xhale Club | Breathless Riviera Resort and Spa | Should You Upgrade?

Breathless Riviera Resort and Spa is located in Riviera Maya about 20-30 minutes from the Cancun Airport. We stayed from June 26-29th 2022 and upgraded to the Xhale Club. This all inclusive resort has a definite party vibe and checks off a lot of the boxes that we love about a resort but had 2 main issues that would cause us not to return. Xhale Club - Should you upgrade?
-Personalized check-in and check-out with concierge/YES
-Daily continental breakfast service/ YES but room services is better
-Afternoon hot and cold hors d’oeuvres / YES
- Desserts and premium liquors / YES and NO - Highest Vodka they had was Absolut and you could get that anywhere
-Personal concierge service / YES - always a person in the lounge if you needed something
Access to spa’s hydrotherapy circuit (once per stay) / YES AND AMAZING!!!
-xhale club suites in premium locations -NO we had a room next to the party pool
-Upgraded mini-bar - NOT really - two small bottles of alcohol
-Upgraded bath amenities - NO
-Pillow menu - Never saw this
-Nespresso Coffee Machine - YES
-Personal martini bar: complementary Belvedere Vodka (200ml), one cranberry juice, martini glasses, and a shaker* - NO - we got Smirnoff

Great info. I was there a couple of years ago. Before they made the other part a Secrets resort. Regular check in was good. Not great, not terrible. We stayed mostly at the middle pool. The party pool was a little too much. The middle larger pool was always fun and entertaining without being the hump-fest the party pool can sometimes be. If I go back there, I'd definitely stay in the Secrets resort section.
