heres an idea, next season on FPL, everyone starts with the exact same 15 players and you go from there to see who is really the best and not just lucky with the start
Chris really shocked me with how little football knowledge he had outside of the top half of the premier league 😂😂 Randy came across really well, good ball knowledge. Also… Reev definitely confused Ollie Burke with Oli McBurnie 😂😂
On the quick discussion about watching football in America @ 24:00 (I'm Canadian and it's pretty similar we just have to pay for more content) they do have Matchday Live and a lot of other content on DAZN when watching the Premier League and it definitely adds to the experience instead of just having advertising throughout the halftime break. This also means since I can watch the Premier League, LaLiga, etc. here I do not care one bit about MLS lol.
Being in the US is great for football content nowadays. Peacock, ESPN+ and Paramount+ all like $5-$10 a month and I don’t ever miss a game from any league
39:50 As a Reading fan i was absolutely gutted when we lost Antonio Instead we decided to keep the absolutely useless Hal Robson-Kanu in his place, one of very many poor decisions we've made with young players over the years
I’m 27 and I’m a Man United fan, so my “favourite” players from each premier league club, in my lifetime I would say.. Arsenal - Henry Aston Villa - Gareth Barry Brentford - This is their first ever season in the prem so I’m not saying a player (mbuemo most likely if anyone) Brighton - Glen Murray Burnley - Ben Mee Chelsea - Lampard Crystal Palace - Zaha Everton - Duncan Ferguson Leeds - Viduka Leicester - Jamie Vardy Liverpool - Gerrard Man City - Aguero Man United - Wayne Rooney Newcastle - Alan Shearer Norwich - Darren Huckerby Southampton - Matt Le Tissier Tottenham - Kane Watford - Tommy Smith West Ham - Mark Noble Wolves - Jota
Football is actually growing big time in America as well. They usually like to mix in Americans w UK announcers… ie Tim Howard with the uk announcers on nbc and now all the games are on a $5-month subscription service
On Peacock idk the cost but it's been fun to hear Tim Howard as a born and raised Coloradan (I.e. a rapids fan lol)... football is a lot bigger here, I played in some large clubs as a kid, but unfortunately in school it's discouraged for American football or basketball or something (same thing I struggled with, I chose basketball and in the end wish I played "sorry for the crime but I'll call it soccer" the whole time cuz I had multiple teammates go d1 and d2 and I coulda had so much fun in college instead
Honest first ones that came to my mind... As soon as i heard Everton... I thought Yakubu, what a baller he was back in the day Aston Villa - Downing / Agbonlahor Spurs - Van Der Vaart / Bale Arsenal - Henry, Bergkamp, fabregas, Arshavin Chelsea - Anelka/Lampard Liverpool - Gerrard/Salah/Torres/Suarez/Rush/Alonso City - Aguero/Tevez/Toure/Silva
Cant say salah or suarez is the best liverpool player ever mainly cus they havent done it for that long tbh i think its between dalglish and gerrard depending on which generation u ask
American here. Peacock is a streaming service that has the rights to all the prem games. NBC is the big national cable network that shows a few free games per week. They have sister channels (USA Network, NBCSN, etc.) that have the games if they show multiple during the same kickoff time. But if you want to have access to all the games every week you need to buy Peacock.
Just shows how football mad is he really ? They’re all pretty widely known facts for a football fan , does get irritating when they are on a football show and don’t have the correct knowledge
@@jamesjewell3051 exactly what I thought pal. Like you said, any half decent football fan knows that stuff. It's practically common sense of the football world 😂

To explain watching football in America, we have NBC sports which holds the rights to the premier league broadcasting in America, so NBC owns peacock. NBC puts some games on the peacock app, and other games on the NBC sports channel, so unless you have NBC sports and also pay for peacock you have no idea if you can even watch your club every week, cause it's one or the other.
Surprised no one said Kun Agüero when talking about favorite Man City players tbh because they were just drifting away from the topic of the conversation 😅
I can never take Fpl too serious because I only do things I want to happen irl. Always ramsdale and two other arsenal players. I can never put Kane or son.. And anyone else in the top four race like Man U or wolves I can't either
You need to tell the guest to prep for the footballers stories before the podcast. They don't have to tell you, but havin them on the spot don't seem to work
Best episode yet!
Love this new Theo Md guy
Randy is a class guy
Agreed
classic theo
sorry theo mate but it’s all because we don’t have to listen to your opinions
Randy ball knowledge class, as knows the lower leagues as well as prem.
Yeah, supporting a team that’s below the top league instantly gives you mad ball knowledge

Chris has 5 mil subs, Randy has 1 mil and all the comments are about Randy, you love to see it
This lineup needs to be repeated in the future with Theo included. Really fun episode
Randy is actually my GOAT. Funniest guy in the friendship group.

yo randolph called everyone who would come up. thats crazy
The combined football IQ of this podcast is no longer in minus, now that Theo is not here
It is still poor tho they get a lot of stuff wrong and don’t know much especially Chris md, Randolph acc brought the best knowledge
I love Randy.
39:39 Randolph was literally Pitchside for that screamer of a goal, BigUp
its weird seeing randolph on a podcast without minter
Chris really shocked me with how little football knowledge he had outside of the top half of the premier league 😂😂
Randy came across really well, good ball knowledge.

I’ve also just heard ChrisMD call Ruben Neves a long shot merchant. He does not watch football other than arsenal. Confirmed. That’s a shocking take
