As an environmental microbiologist would like to know what ever bacillus and final do we recover on media plate are present in spore form or in vegetative state in environment. Also if my disinfection programme has B.cerus then it will suffice requirement for all other microorganisms including fungi?

If spores are so resistant why don’t we just safely remove them instead of attempting to kill them?
