My prof just threw 8 chapters in 2 lectures for Micro. I have not taken chem, bio in over 8 years, Every time I tried taking notes in class she'd be on the next subject and I was so confused, overwhelmed, and upset. You have helped TREMENDOUSLY. You don't talk to fast and break it down like you should to make the subject easy, fun, and not as overwhelming. THANK YOU SO MUCH we need more teachers like you. You have no idea...

My professor for this class does not offer an in-depth, lengthy lecture explaining each chapter or a study guide to follow along with. I took Biology and Chemistry in High School... 17 years ago. I've done ALL of my college classes online since. This is my last pre-req before applying to the Nursing Program. It's not an online problem because I passed an A&P 10 wk summer online course with an A. So yes, teaching styles do make a huge difference in student outcomes. I failed my first Micro test with a 50% last week. I found your Microbiology videos when I Google searched for help, and it's been a huge godsend. I passed my second test with 88% today!!!! We need more people like you to be educators. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!

I’m not taking any exams anymore since I’m 66 and taught English. But, some teachers like this and the guy on Ninja Nerd make this fascinating!!

I'm taking microbiology and anatomy at the same time and I'm drowning, especially because my micro professor goes way too fast and is totally indifferent about the subject. I've been feeling frustrated and upset because I couldn't seem to grasp the concepts at all. I was recommended your channel by a fellow classmate and I am so thankful I was --thank you so, so much. You are seriously changing people's lives here and you do make the topic fun. You've got a subscriber here :)

Your videos have been so helpful, one of the few that do not make me sleepy two minutes in the video. You are interesting and clear , also love the examples and comparisons you give. This always helps me remember better

Is there a way to get practice tests for these lectures? Your lectures line up w mine perfectly but are so much easier to understand. My professor is super old school and all our tests are fill in the blank w genus and species I’ve never even heard of and can’t even pronounce especially spell- would be so appreciated!!

Hi Dear Professor. Thanks so much for your help. Sometimes we are talking about the electron source, which led to some confusion, as electrons come also from carbon sources. ANy explanation of that point please ? Thanks

Individual molecules do not move randomly. A nuclear physicist would understand. At the microscopic level there is still logic that can be predicted with environmental factors like when meteorologists predict storms because they collect data, or factors.
