    This is the best series on Fourier Analysis that I have seen! Thanks for posting them and being so thorough, and taking your time working through it.

    You did not remove minus from -1/jnwo, it will change the whole solution.

    At 6:51 did you didn't you need to carry the negative since it is a constant?

    • @viktorchao4191
      @viktorchao4191 6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      why don't you just leave a comment in video on time 6:51 to clarify it and refer it to time 10:34? I think that is easier for everyone.

    A SHORTCUT : After putting the upper and lower limits , multiply the minus sign inside the bracket and multiply and divide the whole term by 2j .
    Then you'll directly get the formula of sin(nwt) which is (e^jnwt - e^-jnwt)/ 2j .

    At 9:50 Why cos(x) is equal to cos(-x) and same with sin(x) and sin(-x)?

    • @srikrishnanarayanan2915
      @srikrishnanarayanan2915 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not sure if this helps clear the steps in 9:50. I apologize in advance if my response has confused you further 😅.
      Recall that cosine is an even function and sine is an odd function. Now what do we mean by odd and even functions? Simply put it refers to symmetry or in simple terms x(-t) = x(t) for even functions (The function looks the same when reflected over the y-axis). Likewise, x(-t) = -x(t) for odd functions (The function is a mirrored copy reflected over the x-axis).
      Since cosine is an even function, cos(-x) = cos(x) and similarly since sine is an odd function sin(-x) = -sin(x). This is what the video instructor utilized in 9:50. You can also check the odd and even properties by using values from the unit circle and plugging in for (x).
      Hope this helps and once again I am sorry if I confused you more 😁

    I think there was an error in the first integral (2:57). I believe it should go from -T0/2 to -Tao/2 .

    • @laggggggggg3
      @laggggggggg3 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Erhan Konak I agree we dont need them, but the way they set up the integral they split it into 3 regions. The two zeros and the one that is A0. If you look at the first integral it should not include the tao/2 because that interval is not always zero.
