I'm queer, so the consistent show of bravery and devotion they muster for each other gives me strength and solace. Even in their toughest years, which to me is from 2017 (daresay 2016) to 2020, when either one was thoroughly exhausted, the other still held on, and both never gave up on each other. they're constantly thwarted by their company and FS, but they take every opportunity to show us the unwavering faith in their relationship. I will only trust what they give us, to hell with anyone else. Seeing them be unapologetically loud and proud in recent years is awe-inspiring to say the least. they're absolutely my heroes. As for opinions, I've noticed that since Covid, all members of BTS have started to enter their IDGAF What You Want anymore. Jin & Yoongi have always embodied this well, since debut if you think of it. But the others came slowly. Hobi just popped in there eventually, albeit more quietly than the others. One that impressed me, as he just outright said it, was actually Jimin when he dead-ass looked at the crew, looked at Army via camera & said, "I HATE Fake Skinship, I know it's part of the job but I hate it as it's disingenuous. I like being real." Notice how his hugs to the members have never changed, & WHO he sought out never changed, but the level increased a bit. (Yes, I'm talking about Army's Fave Cat. See the increase in content with just the two of them?)
Tae & Kook entering this era is fantastic ever since RM glared at the staff all that while ago and lightly put JK back with V during a post-concert interview. Seeing the two just post what they wanted & finally not caring what people outside of their bubble think is great. These days, it may also be less of the company; (personally, I think the company finally went this route of letting them post & be as they wish as they've gotten older, & also as they were all starting to enter the military & things would stop requiring the need to be restrictive, hate it as some might, but protection by separation is also something to consider, as crappy as it can be, due to societal pressures & an already growing hatred for the boys & company as a whole to the point that they'd look for any type of topic to drag them); being the one stopping anything (remember, pre-military can be dangerous & risky for any person) but more the social pressure. As for RM, look at Bangtan's leader popping off in this era. Which, good on him.

They are just into each other in ways that do not look platonic compared to the connections they have with other members. It’s just different, closer and deeper in dozens of ways. A lot of Taekookers feel discomfort and may even feel crazy because many people just don’t pay attention and don’t see what they see. When you see that two people obviously have romantic feelings for each other, and there is a closeted couple right in front of everyone, but nobody seems to see… It may affect your belief in your ability to accurately perceive life itself. But I think, life is so weird sometimes that we should let ourselves read some things not quite right. There is still a chance this is a unique friendship, and if it is - it’s is OK, we are not crazy, the feelings we see are still real. Life is just diverse and beautiful and full of surprises.

I really don’t pay attention to clothes at all in relation to Taekook or shipping in general, but I acknowledge TKK might pay attention to clothes, yk? Like, not bc some ppl, namely Jimin -based on the example you gave above-, don’t necessarily wanna make statements with their clothes and might see it as simple decoration, or a mundane part of their lives, it doesn’t mean that other people don’t either, specially when there’s content out there where TH himself has both implicitly and explicitly proved he pays a lot of attention to meanings, clothes and other types of decoration, he’s simply an artist and very intellectual for these type of matters. And also they are prone to not overthinking some stuff that can potentially get them in trouble sometimes. As a bts fan from 2018 who at the same time became a huge Taekooker (tae biased jk/joon wrecker) the amount of growth, boldness and freedom I get from Taekook starting in 2021 and humongously developing in 2022/23 is so beautiful… it makes me speechles.
Compared to all the angst, suppression and anger I felt for moments before 2021 (for example, even in their damn online concert where tae had his arm over jks shoulder the staff separated them?? Tk visibly got upset ESPECIALLY TAE. LUCKLY joon, the king he is, pushed them back together iykyk the moment I’m talking about)
Anyways back to my main point, up from 2021-2023 I FELT their freedom! as a part of the lgbt+ community the change in their attitude towards the company, social media, and the outside world makes me rlly happy. :)

I'm queer, so the consistent show of bravery and devotion they muster for each other gives me strength and solace. Even in their toughest years, which to me is from 2017 (daresay 2016) to 2020, when either one was thoroughly exhausted, the other still held on, and both never gave up on each other. they're constantly thwarted by their company and FS, but they take every opportunity to show us the unwavering faith in their relationship. I will only trust what they give us, to hell with anyone else. Seeing them be unapologetically loud and proud in recent years is awe-inspiring to say the least. they're absolutely my heroes. As for opinions, I've noticed that since Covid, all members of BTS have started to enter their IDGAF What You Want anymore.
Jin & Yoongi have always embodied this well, since debut if you think of it. But the others came slowly.
Hobi just popped in there eventually, albeit more quietly than the others.
One that impressed me, as he just outright said it, was actually Jimin when he dead-ass looked at the crew, looked at Army via camera & said, "I HATE Fake Skinship, I know it's part of the job but I hate it as it's disingenuous. I like being real."
Notice how his hugs to the members have never changed, & WHO he sought out never changed, but the level increased a bit. (Yes, I'm talking about Army's Fave Cat. See the increase in content with just the two of them?)
Tae & Kook entering this era is fantastic ever since RM glared at the staff all that while ago and lightly put JK back with V during a post-concert interview.
Seeing the two just post what they wanted & finally not caring what people outside of their bubble think is great.
These days, it may also be less of the company;
(personally, I think the company finally went this route of letting them post & be as they wish as they've gotten older, & also as they were all starting to enter the military & things would stop requiring the need to be restrictive, hate it as some might, but protection by separation is also something to consider, as crappy as it can be, due to societal pressures & an already growing hatred for the boys & company as a whole to the point that they'd look for any type of topic to drag them);
being the one stopping anything (remember, pre-military can be dangerous & risky for any person) but more the social pressure.

I also wanted to mention that when we get into discovering and analysing Taekook, besides being smitten with the way they are into each other, Taekook analysis is also deeply about our skills to navigate social dynamics.
A lot of Taekookers feel discomfort and may even feel crazy because many people just don’t pay attention and don’t see what they see.
When you see that two people obviously have romantic feelings for each other, and there is a closeted couple right in front of everyone, but nobody seems to see… It may affect your belief in your ability to accurately perceive life itself.
But I think, life is so weird sometimes that we should let ourselves read some things not quite right. There is still a chance this is a unique friendship, and if it is - it’s is OK, we are not crazy, the feelings we see are still real. Life is just diverse and beautiful and full of surprises.

Like, not bc some ppl, namely Jimin -based on the example you gave above-, don’t necessarily wanna make statements with their clothes and might see it as simple decoration, or a mundane part of their lives, it doesn’t mean that other people don’t either, specially when there’s content out there where TH himself has both implicitly and explicitly proved he pays a lot of attention to meanings, clothes and other types of decoration, he’s simply an artist and very intellectual for these type of matters.
